Pros The consolidation of features into one place which is how the company and concept started, as I understand it. Cons The availability of templates would be the biggest con, and there aren't that many. Looking at the websites of colleagues, it is apparent that some other hosting services are a bit more forward-thinking in this area. Musician Music Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Music-oriented service" May 26, 2022 5.0 I am a solo artist and I do everything on my own, including marketing, shipping orders, etc so for me it's very important to have tools which make my life easier and don't overwhelm me with complexity and problems. That's why I like Bandzoogle - it makes my life easier. Pros I was delighted to know that there is a platform dedicated entirely to musicians, therefore optimised for such content. I like how easy it is to set up everything even for a person who is generally not inclined to deal with such tasks. Every function that I ever needed for my website is there and easy to use. The fact that one gets such a service together with a domain for this price is definitely a treat. Cons So far, there were just two issues that I have found that need improvement. Backdating posts seem to trigger some bugs, but the support immediately addressed the issue, so I assume it will be fixed quickly. The other thing is that there was no option to add a tracking number for the shipped merch orders. I already made a note of this issue so I hope it will be resolved soon. Been using it a year now, never bugged once and that just assures peace of mind. Easy to use for a beginner in website building (I already have some experience so I can compare) and just super practical. SEO seems great too, I appear in the first search. Cons I would love a more customizable design, I know you can change font, colour and everything really so I don't know why I'm complaining but maybe I'd like something more sleak, I dunno. If they increase speed it would be 10/10. Pros It really is a fantastic website builder. While it's limited in how deep you can customize, it makes up with nice built in plug-ins and themes that can be adjust quickly. Another positive note is that you can switch themes without losing your content because it's a structured layout. Meaning it will readjust your content to fit the new theme style. Not flawless, but pretty sweet. Also the price is pretty good, especially for cdbaby users who get a discount. Cons My biggest complaint is with the blog section. There has to be a search function or it's just a giant useless thread of a mess. Second would be the speed. I've used other sites for non-music but for this, it seems like a natural choice as, for example, it's set up with templates for EPKs, for YouTube videos that fit to the page, for sharing whole albums, for delivering downloadable press photos, and so much more. I love the ease of creating my own little world in this site, with great color and design choices, the ability to change the sizes of images easily, so many possibilities to play with and update and toggle visibility for. I have the pro account, and it's affordable enough that it doesn't cut into my bottom line in any noticeable way. Pros I use Bandzoogle's web hosting platform and software for my online record store. They provide every tool I need to showcase, promote, and sell soundtrack albums. It's like having my own personal Apple Music. It takes a minute to understand how to use their website building tools, but the templates and customization features they provide are well designed and accessible. Customer support is the best I've found with ANY technology company.
