It is simple to use but very powerful in terms of keeping the user focused on completing the right stages of implementation at the right time. I can also see our team's utilization and make better resourcing decisions based on their availability. Cons I wish there were not so many bugs recently, but I will say the customer service is EXCELLENT and any issues I report are always fixed very quickly and with a smile. Pros Rocketlane is easy and intuitive to use and offers a seamless connection from time tracking, project management, reporting, etc. Cons Some default functionality cannot be customized, which makes it challenging to report in meaningful ways and introduces the need to export data to run our reports. For example, we cannot change how quarters are defined; calendar quarters are the default, and we operate on a different cadence, but all reports in Rocketlane use that same definition. When we needed to update an automation behavior in Rocketlane, the team was very responsive and able to help. Pros The customer portal is a really fantastic feature that offers real time project visibility to customers. With the task assignment, it also items for which the customer is responsible. Cons We frequently work with other consultants, often across customer companies and projects. There is not a really straightforward way to invite these other consultants to participate in projects. The "partner" section of the software seems intended to handle this, but requires additional licensing expenses for people who often just need to be aware of what's going on in the project. It is so easy to use and if there are every any struggles, the support team is extremely responsive, so easy to communcaite with and fast to fix. Pros Ability to customize to meet the needs of each individual project Cons Not able to move tasks accross projects; but you are able to assign projects to the same clients so it is easy to work around. The only thing "missing" is the ability to manage "support" via RL; with that, you could use RL to manage the ENTIRE lifecycle with a client. Review Source SM Stacey M. The team is amazing, responsive, and they listen to feedback. The tool is solving so many of our problems, and is making our process better for both internal and external customers. Pros First and foremost, the support, success, engineering, and sales teams are amazing! The team is highly responsive, great problem solvers, and warm and welcoming. The tool itself meets our needs and has greatly reduced our time to value and increased our ROI. We love that we can create sub tasks and sub sub tasks, and dependencies. Finally, the customer view is so helpful! Cons Our only concern is that our Salesforce integration needs a bit of work. The concern is not an issue with Rocketlane, it is just the pains of connecting two tools. The Rocketlane team his highly focused on resolving the issue and has been fantastic! I found it was very intuitive to manage projects and tasks. It was by far one of the best project management tools that i have used. It was also very easy to setup. It was also very easy to get in touch with their CSM for any queries on the product. Overall i had a great experience with the setup and is saving me a lot of time in keeping track of the project progress.
