Their support team helped us at every step of the way. Customers absolutely love it and comment on how great our onboardings are. Pros The ability to integrate with Salesforce and have multiple templates for various project types. When using the templates it's easy to tailor them to our customers needs. Cons It's not easy to manage dates. This is true for every project managment tool I've used. It would be nice for dates on specfic tasks to be optional and instead have dates for groups of tasks as milestones. Pros Rocketlane is easy and intuitive to use and offers a seamless connection from time tracking, project management, reporting, etc. Cons Some default functionality cannot be customized, which makes it challenging to report in meaningful ways and introduces the need to export data to run our reports. For example, we cannot change how quarters are defined; calendar quarters are the default, and we operate on a different cadence, but all reports in Rocketlane use that same definition. When we needed to update an automation behavior in Rocketlane, the team was very responsive and able to help. Pros The customer portal is a really fantastic feature that offers real time project visibility to customers. With the task assignment, it also items for which the customer is responsible. Cons We frequently work with other consultants, often across customer companies and projects. There is not a really straightforward way to invite these other consultants to participate in projects. The "partner" section of the software seems intended to handle this, but requires additional licensing expenses for people who often just need to be aware of what's going on in the project. It is so easy to use and if there are every any struggles, the support team is extremely responsive, so easy to communcaite with and fast to fix. Pros Ability to customize to meet the needs of each individual project Cons Not able to move tasks accross projects; but you are able to assign projects to the same clients so it is easy to work around. Pros The speed of execution at which the product team is shipping new features, every month has been a key takeaway for me on the Rocketlane tool as well as the team at Rocketlane. The team is truly focused on making the customers succeed and gave individual attention to the asks that we had in terms of features. Cons Nothing specific except the lack of customer success features. Rocketlane should now focus on building its customer success module wherein, it can become a one-stop shop for all customer success and PSA organizations. I found it was very intuitive to manage projects and tasks. It was by far one of the best project management tools that i have used. It was also very easy to setup. It was also very easy to get in touch with their CSM for any queries on the product. Overall i had a great experience with the setup and is saving me a lot of time in keeping track of the project progress. Cons Maybe more slicing and dicing around reports and ability to customize them. Particularly for me, Rocketlane timesheets have made it really convenient to keep track of my time and all tasks I have worked on the entire week. Pros The best thing about Rocketlane is its user-friendly dashboards. Rocketlane has made project management and collaboration, and task assignments really convenient. Timesheet filling and submission have also become very easy with Rocketlane. Cons Overall Rockelane is really efficient and convenient in project management. But sometimes it gets stuck while adding multiple events from the calendar in the timesheets. Also, there should be some way such that recurring events to be added automatically to the timesheets.
