Pros It's the only tool where I have confidence that my structured dataset is accurate. With Excel or Sheets, I'm always worried that some data validation is wrong or someone messed with the config. With Grist I can always check the log and quickly validate formulas in one place. Cons It can take a little while to get used to the column-centric design, but once you get the hang of it it's also what provides you with the comfort of knowing your data is accurate. Also, the fact that you can do split views within one screen and build dashboards to update in real-time is really a game-changer. Grist is way faster and performant than Google Sheets when it comes to large amounts of data, which is the point of data management anyway. Pros Data table management, automation features, open source, API, and the possibilities with in-built webhook capabilities. Cons Learning curve in using the software to its full potential. But they make it up with regular webinars, tutorial videos, extensive documentation, templates, and use cases. Grist is a well-designed product that solves a real issue with respect to data management and reporting. Their team and community is very responsive and I'm really excited to see where it all goes. Pros Ever since I implemented Grist with my team, our data and project management has been easy sailing. It's so flexible and can be used for so many different uses such as CMS, inventory tracking, rank tracking, product performance, interactive SOPs, and so much more. I use it every day and it's been absolutely essential to my productivity and streamlining team operations in and out of departments. Cons The learning curve wasn't bad but still a learning curve nonetheless. Their support team has been incredibly helpful whenever I ran into issues. The interface is so intuitive that even my sister can use it right away. It is also very easy to share data with other team members... I can say that this software is worth every penny! I really like the way it is set up and I can see all my data easily. We also like that it is open source and we can use it for free. I can't say enough good things about this app, I use it every day and it has helped me stay organized in a more organized way. Cons Need to understand Python to use but it is also an opportunity for you to learn new knowledge.
