Like that all staff can access journal, clinical notes, etc to be sure patients get the best in care. Cons TOO MANY GLITCHES! Since upgrading 1st of April have spent average of 5 hours / day on with techs to try & resolve a multitude of issues.. Pros I like that the software has the capability of online paperwork which cuts down on office phone time. It also allows patients to see their entire treatment plan at once. Cons Email marketing capabilities. No photos or html in the current Dentrix system. Also no way for patients to unsubscribe from emails -- which they complain about a lot. March 5, 2019 5.0 I'm able to save a lot of time via Dentrix. My financial collections are sorted out easily and in no time. Pros I like the charting feature that is helpful in assessing the dental condition of the patients. Quite easy to use and I can schedule an appointment or see details of previous appointment of the patients. Cons It is slow most of the times, clock icon is slow in opening, interface is quite bland colored, and I wish I can do the job in one window, but I've to open quite a few in order to take a note of what is needed. Cons I do not like that you have to open and close multiple windows to find information, and that there are multiple ways to find it. March 15, 2018 2.0 Pros I like that you can get a great deal on the software. Other than that, the software is slow and not nearly as good as Eaglesoft. Cons This program is like 8 programs in 1 software. But think if Google Chrome launched a different Chrome browser everytime you went to a different webpage. Thats what Dentrix does. You schudled is one thing, your appointments is another program, the patient space is another program so it needs alot of network traffic and fast computers to hold all of this up. Just not worth it when Eaglesoft is better and all in one nice window. Once I was familiar with it, the ease of it, made it one of the most efficient programs. Pros When I was a dental assistant, I used Dentrix daily. It was one of the easiest software programs I had used in that field. Cons It takes awhile to get use to. Pros Fairly straightforward to use and the reports that can be run are good. Cons Too many different screens that should be able to be viewed at once. I strongly believe the medical history and chart should show up as one complete screen for optimal patient care.
