We have used a number of software types before but they were too complicated and not as robust as Dentrix. Pros Dentrix is great and easy to work with on a daily basis, the software allows you to schedule appointments( no more paper calendars) schedule treatments and upload patient pictures. Reporting is great Pros Support is fantastic. Easy to use and train on. Our reporting is seem less. Tooth charting and treatment planning is easy. Billing insurance and fee scales works great. Pros Inbetween jobs I worked as an Office Manager at a Dental Office Chain that used Dentrix. I must say the software was pretty solid. It held patient records, appointments, did scheduling, held dental x-rays, etc. And it felt very composed, never had any technical issues. It's a good solid software that eases the burdens of dental office owners.... Cons There really were not a lot of things not to like about this software.... the color of the application maybe?
