"Working well after several months of use"
Overall: Hopefully the team will focus on constant improvement of software reliability and accuracy rather than additional features. I see that many alternatives in the market tries to do everything but doesn't do a single thing reliable well. Which, in this case is the time tracking. So no crash please!
Pros: While Deskcove team is newer than other solutions in the market, it appears that the team software development is keeping up with the demand. It works most of the time.
Cons: The deployment to initial users took longer than expected. The software crashed and it was particularly difficult for users of Apple computers - IOS for which they don't have certification.
"A time tracking software that is still in the nascent stage!"
Overall: Overall, it's not a very encouraging experience with DeskCove. You have to struggle to get even the most basic reports and that's for someone who comes with an IT background. The UI/UX is not user friendly and you have to spend time looking for even the most basic things.
Pros: Well, their LTD plan was something that drew us to this product initially. It was coming out to be much cheaper that other comparable options available in the market.
Cons: The software till date is not a mature one. It still lacks a lot of important things and still is buggy sometimes. You can only use it if you have already purchased it. I think people would shy away after a free trial. The support doesn't respond for days and their roadmap is still strewn with lots of features that should ideally be built before launching a product of this type.
"Full of BUGS and a really pathetic support team!!"
Overall: We got DeskCove installed on all our machines and then went on to setup projects and tasks and adding members on DeskCove. That's when we started coming across multiple bugs that are not something that one can't notice straightaway. These are bugs that show that the product is not even tested properly before launching in the market. I tried getting in touch with their support a few times and all they say is that they are working on the bugs and would come out with a new build soon. I told them that without having these issues resolved, I couldn't even use the application but they were non-committal and couldn't provide a solution. Tried writing to [SENSITIVE CONTENT] also, the [SENSITIVE CONTENT] of the company and an email to him almost 3 weeks back didn't get me any response so far.
Pros: The screen capturing option that gives you the exact details of what the user was up to.
Cons: The SUPPORT - it's NON-EXISTENT. It seems that they just disappeared from the face of the planet after you contacted them regarding the issues being faced.
"One of the best deals I've ever made!"
Overall: It works pretty well. It's easy to navigate. My VAs use it daily. There are rarely any issues. Once we had an issue and I got the support to fix it, the support answered immediatelly and fixed it. I think it's one of the best tools I've ever bought. I used to pay so much money to tools like Hubstaff but now I use Deskcove and it's good.
Pros: I've bought Deskcove a few months ago. I've been using it to track time of my VAs in the last couple of weeks. Pros are: -Inexpensive -Easy to use for users -Easy to use for me [manager]
Cons: Nothing bad so far. Once we had a problem with time tracking but the support fixed it in 1 hour.
