While I am constantly on the lookout for Hoxhunt training e-mails, that transitions to keeping our workplace safe from actually phishing attacks. Also, this transitions to keeping my personal e-mails safe from phishing attacks as I become more aware of what to look for. I also love the gamification as I am super competitive and don't want my streak to end! Cons At this point (Platinum, 14/17 achievements), I would like to see more of a challenge. More difficult scenarios, more content on the dashboard, an explanation as to how colleagues in my company have more stars than me for the month even though I haven't missed any. I listen to a Podcast called "Darknet Diaries" and he talks about penetration testing a lot. It would be cool to have trainings on what to look for in the office that may be "out of place" or what social engineering tricks bad guys use to get into physical spaces. Review Source Cameron S. Cons No complaints really. If I had to pick nits, the icon for reporting spoof emails is kind of small in the Gmail suite (a restriction of GSuite more than Hoxhunt) Review Source Matt W. I think that it does a good job of this and many of the simulations resemble more sophisticated email phishing attempts. I think that it is a great training tool in that regard. Cons Initially, the email phishing simulator had no way to configured planned out-of-office time. This led to missed simulations and breaking of streaks and such. Pros It is easy to use, literally just the touch of a button. Due to the various training emails that are sent it really makes you understand the different ways in which security issues and threats can come about. This helps and makes you think when you get a lot of emails through to really watch out for those that look innocent enough but really could be something else. It is now a habit when I am not expecting something and it looks unusual or a bit too good to be true just to press the button for some assurance to check. If I miss a fake attempt, I receive immediate training, which is quick and simple. Compared to other training and security features I've used, Hoxhunt tracks more accurately and has a significantly better user interface—it's genuinely enjoyable to use. The product provides a great experience in a gamification manner, making it fun. It provides essential training to end users without them even knowing they are taking the training. So much fun. Pros I love the experience this product gives end users. It is not intrusive at all and definitely hits the mark showing you examples of phishing and spam attacks. September 21, 2022 5.0 Pros Hoxhunt is constantly throwing me curve balls in the challenges it presents, and its honed my ability to detect and report on phishing attempts for a wide variety of scenarios. Beating the challenges has become an obsession for me - I learn every time something new comes along and my scores are skyrocketing as I become better at detecting and reporting phishing attempts. Cons I think it would be interesting to provide a gallery of 'case studies' on actual attacks that my company has received. The simulations from Hoxhunt are challenging and based on real world examples, but I would like to see what current threats are being received by my colleagues so we have some idea of what those actually look like. Some mails are so convincing that if people are not careful, they will click on the risky links which can then in background wreak havoc on the system. The tool has a convenient interface & regular way for sending mails in a way which makes employee think if this mail is genuine or not. And while doing so the employee is gaining knowledge as well as the system is totally safe. Cons Nothing annoying about this tool.
