Cons Sometimes I missed to report for Hoxhunt e-mail sent for training purpose as I have been traveling. Pros I like how Hoxhunt makes it a game to spot malware (and potential malware). It helps you keep a critical eye on messages you're receiving. Cons I have noticed a tendency for people to start messaging each other to see if an email is valid (when it's actually a Hoxhunt email). A note of merit: I appreciate a lot that this product and its applications are not very time consuming: in a society where we consider time more and more valuable, it is nice to being able to learn in a fast but efficient way. Pros \- The graphic interface is smooth and user friendly. - The whole training path, from simulating threat emails to risk explanations, is very well structured. It becomes very easy to ignore red flags when you are dealing with dozens of messages every day, but knowing that I am regularly being monitored for this has helped me stay on point! I love the interface and it is so incredibly user friendly. Cons Honestly, nothing, I love the program. Having the icon directly on my inbox is the biggest seller for me. So useful! Also if maybe just to not lose my streak! Really great tool, it makes a boring topic quite entertaining. Pros Compared to the usual company fake scam email, this is a completely different level. Quality is quite high and I have learnt to be more souspicious about any email and possible threats. But best point is for sure the capability of entertaining, it's a really great exaplme of well done gamification. I can't wait for the next foxhunt email to arrive. Cons I don't really see any "bad" aspect. Maybe what can be improved is the learning part, where the questions and he lesson learned are sometimes a bit obvious and not challenging. Some emails are very obvious to be fake but some have also been quite believable. Nice to have some tips, and to be able to review my HoxHunt history. Fun achievements. A password challenge with useful tips. Cons I would wish for more frequent emails - it would also help remembering to set vacation mode when leaving for a longer period of time, and avoid lost progress due unreported messages. Missing a feature: In our company, we have statistics per country, and I would appreciate to see more detailed information, not only success rate. There should be also statistics on failed emails with a separation between training emails where user has clicked on something, and where email was missed (as it disappears after some time). Pros I like that the threats are interesting and non trivial. I have learnt alot. I clicked on one spam training, it presented an outlook email that said that my space is running low. It was quite interesting. Or emails sent from urls that seem like a company URL but are in fact cyrilic urls. Really quite interesting aspects. They've caught me out a couple of times, lol Cons Some of the training emails come to me during PTO, and I wish the delay in reporting the email wouldn't be penalized as a "missed" email, as I don't check my work emails during PTO. It's hard to say how it's calculated and even if you do everything right you will not be in the top performers. Also you get 'punishment' for just missing a hoxhount mail (not reporting it and not opening it neither). The internet criminality is getting more intelligent every day and its easier to give strangers access to our intern systems without even knowing it. Hoxhunt reminding me to keep an eye on incoming emails and staying safe. Pros The good thing about Hoxhunt is that its trying multiple ways to confuse you. I mean sometime its easy to know that an email needs to be reported, but like I said sometimes its a very good made fraud. Cus of that I take more time to analyse incoming emails. And after reporting fraud emails I like the little information texts to collect another star. Cons I really dont know what to write on this one here, but one time I reported the Email to hoxhunt and It was indeed a fraud. After I reported it and collected my stars, I pressed the link on the fake email to see whats gonna happen. I can't speak to the benefits to the company at a high level, but I am pleased with the interactive aspect. Pros I am a user, and I like the variety of simulated email threats. It has made me much more aware of email attacks, both in my professional and personal life. I like that whether you spot a training email or not, Hoxhunt points out all the "tricks" cyber-attackers could use to gain access. Informative and fun.
