Pros After effects has a vast range of tools and features from video effects to transition and title sequences. I don’t need any third party softwares to finish a project and once fully learnt the possibilities are endless as it is used even by the most experienced film makers. Cons What I did not like most about after effects is it is not easy to just open and off one goes, it has a little bit of a learning curve and now is a subscription based software so one does not fully own it. It can do much in both worlds, which is great! Pros It is really good in so many areas, from VFX to Coloring. It's the best program for animating illustrations from Adobe Illustrator as they perfectly compatible. It's used in professional cinema which shows how good it's features are. Cons It's not really compatible with a lot of laptops and sometimes doesn't use the GPU and instead, uses the integrated graphics. Due to it's many features, the learning curve it's really big, making it overwhelming for new users.
