Vous pouvez y dessiner directement, modifier des vecteurs. Le plus intéressant est que vous pouvez facilement animer du texte et des dessins, ajouter des effets à vos vidéos et même ajouter directement des fichiers audio sans forcément passer par Premiere Pro. Il dispose également d'une fluidité dans l'importation et l'exportation de fichiers vers les autres logiciels de la suite. Pros C'est un logiciel avec beaucoup d'options selon l'objectif auquel il est destiné (motion design, animation de caractères). Comme pour tout logiciel Adobe, chaque année il y a de nouvelles fonctionnalités à découvrir, qui augmentent le champ des possibilités avec After Effects. Il y a une facilité d'adaptation grâce aux différents plugins développés autour du logiciel. Cons Logiciel très lourd. Il occupe une bonne partie de la mémoire RAM, d'où des difficultés à l'utiliser en même temps que d'autres logiciels. L'utilisation est plus facile sur un PC gamer ou sur MacBook Pro. Le possibilità poi di integrazione con gli altri prodotti, tipo Photoshop, è molto alta. Insomma, un software che ha pochi concorrenti. Cons Unica nota leggermente stonata il suo costo. Da quando Adobe ha deciso di creare il sistema di abbonamento il prezzo sembra lievitare nel lungo corso e risultare dunque eccessivo. Sarebbe meglio prevedrò sia l'abbonamento, ma anche l'acquisto per chi volesse scegliere una soluzione unica di pagamento che possa poi con il tempo essere ammortizzata. I would never replace the software with something else, it's great. Pros Easy of use I should say is number one. The timeline with all the colours and customisable features is great and can speed up the animation process greatly. Cons There is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to special effects (most are 10+ years old) and also with rendering previews. It needs to be much faster. It's really complicated to do simple animations, other software does this faster and easier, but with slightly less quality. If you are editing for the big screen, sure, use After Effects. If it's for a smaller format, find something else. Pros After Effects delivers too notch results and is an industry standard. You are only really limited by your skills and experience with this software. Cons For even simple tasks, it takes a long time to navigate and get things done. You name it and After Effects can probably do it. I've used it for my best motion graphic work - including kinetic typography, animated logos, and animations - and also some editing across ad films and marketing material. Currently, I'm looking into the integration of Cinema 4D into my 3D workflow. The plethora of tools that it provides along with the external tools available makes it versatile and super powerful. Cons After effects could definitely use better memory management. The cache fills up really quickly and can make the software crash more frequently. Cons The features can also be a con, it can take a long time for a new user to get used to the interface, it's an overload and we end up trimming the interface down so there is not too much going on. After Effects can be really heavy on your computer and is prone to crashing. It's part of Adobe, which has some of the worst customer support in existence. If I'm editing a project and need to do a VFX shot I can simply send to and from each program with ease, which allows for a Streamline workflow. Cons What I Least like about the program is the slight bugs it has at time, switching from certain windows freezes up the system and crashes. Working on the time line is a common and assimilated experience where you get your bearings after a few seconds. After Effects once again confirms itself as the leading platform in advanced video compositing, representing in its latest incarnation a more complete solution and, now more than ever, 3D oriented by virtue of the integration with Cinema 4D, offered in bundled light version. Even on Mac it enjoys a fast track, given the lack of an Apple product truly able to compete in terms of versatility and completeness. Cons What I dislike very little, however, is the resource consumption and the price. Being a MacOS user, I've ended up preferring Final Cut Pro with Motion, thanks to which I can carry out similar works consuming much less resources and with shorter working times. In this case, however, I have to give up working with team members who don't use MacOS. In my opinion, the pricing could also be improved to be more user-friendly.
