### "Cost effective software that offers wide range of capabilities"

Pros

It is far cheaper than competition while offering a lot of advanced tools for audio and video editing. Also it supports a variety of video formats and it includes a lot of video effects.

Cons

Outdated GUI, slow rendering and no support for 3D and 360 videos.

I've installed Nero Video for making some easy video edits on a secondary PC.Since I have known this company for a long time, I was very happy to try this new version.If you are looking for a simple video editor with a legacy user interface, you are in the right place.

Pros

It's really easy to use, especially for people who are not used to editing videos with its user interface.lifetime license and an affordable price.I used Nero's software for a long time, so I find this a warranty for the product.

Cons

There isn't a MacOS version and has a very slow rendering process on high performance PCs.

### "Very basic video editor"

Starting back in the day with windows movie maker, upgrading to Nero video was good. Once we started to have more complex projects, I had to look for another software that well provided the features we needed.

Pros

Fast and basic video editor for very small projects and only 3 layers. More layers will give you problems since the software will crash on you.

Cons

Software infrastructure does not support more than 3 layers on the timeline. The software crashed on me several times when trying to edit big projects. Audio editing is very limited. No color grading for your video.
