### "Adobe is Awesome"

December 29, 2025

5.0

Ive been using it since before when it was Pagemaker and then went to Indesign. Adobe has great software for designers.

Pros

Great software, I like the automatic numbering of pages for books, programs, etc. I love how you can drag drop from other adobe softwares. You can set up master style sheets for headlines, body text, subheads, etc, so everything with match exactly. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Cons

You cannot draw in it. I wish they would bring some features from Illustrator into InDesign so you can draw more. Wish I could make printer pdf spreads from pdfs like you used to be able to do directly in the software.

### "Il meglio per professionisti "

September 30, 2025

4.0

### "Essential item in any designer's toolkit"

May 25, 2025

5.0

InDesign is my trusty workhorse in the design space - particularly for print design it is essential.

Pros

Indesign is a bit of a 'jack-of-all-trades'. You can create anything from print to digital and social. There are so many features to use, and more are always being added. It is an essential item in any designer's toolkit.

Cons

InDesign does require training to use - study a lot of videos online, or better yet, if you know someone who uses it, get them to give you a run-through. Also, without the right settings for your use case, you will not produce things to the best quality for your project.

### "Easy styles and grids for professional printed materials."

March 16, 2025

5.0

I use Indesign daily and I think it is great for designing any print material. Using styles for text and paragraphs, means you can work fast and make edits to full documents quickly and easily. The grid layouts means you can keep everything aligned properly and keep your looking profesional.

Pros

Easy-to-use design software for setting up booklets, 48 sheets and any other printed material. Great for setting up grid systems, and also styles for text and paragraphs. It works well with all the other adobe software and makes designing print easy and stress free.

Cons

Some of the design features from illustrator would be useful to be able to use in indesign. I think the rounded corners option should be easier to access and the way it is in illustrator would make it better.

Great, I use this software daily and it is the industry standard for graphic design. There isn’t another product that comes close when it comes to designing presentations and literature

Pros

Cons

Some glitches within the software making previews glitch and needing to be up to date to with software versions for some files.

### "Un outils qui demande de la rigueur"

January 15, 2026

5.0

Pros

### "Design Your Best with Indesign"

March 3, 2025

5.0

Overall, Adobe Indesign is great way to design across a wide variety of media formats. Even for a quick sketch, I turn to Indesign to do the layout and print out a concept for meetings with C level execs.

Pros

As this product has developed, you can tell the development team is listening to the average end-user. The controls are becoming more intuitive. This has helped me increase my productivity and complete projects in a timely manner.

Cons

The overall cost was initially (as part of CC) felt a little steep. But once you realize you are getting live updates as the rollout and you're not having to download huge new releases, it's worth the investment.

### "a key tool for layout-heavy projects like brochures"

January 16, 2026

5.0

InDesign is a key tool for layout-heavy projects like brochures, reports, and brand guidelines. It helps keep complex documents clean and consistent.

Pros

The layout control is excellent, especially for multi-page documents. Styles, grids, and typography tools make it easy to maintain brand consistency across large projects. It’s also well integrated with other Adobe tools.

Cons

There’s a learning curve, particularly for designers coming from purely visual tools. Like other Adobe products, the subscription cost may be high for very small teams.

### "Create Design Layouts Exactly as You Envision"

December 31, 2024

5.0

Adobe InDesign is a versatile tool for graphic design layouts. It has more features available than other software, which allows for designers to quickly achieve exactly what they want.

Pros

Adobe InDesign is the most versatile program for graphic design layout projects. It is my go-to software for layout of magazines, catalogs, brochures, etc. It easily integrates with other Adobe software (such as Illustrator and Photoshop), as it is simple to place graphics created in other programs into the layout in InDesign. InDesign is very intuitive when it comes to formatting text. It allows for flexibility to manipulate the layout to exactly what you envision.

Cons

It is a bit on the expensive side, and only available as a subscription.

### "Robust tool that streamlines content creation and design."

December 10, 2025

5.0

Great tool for designing templates and doing some basic image editing. It is flexible, versatile and very comprehensive in how much customization it allows.

Pros

InDesign is incredible tool for designing templates and documents that allows for great flexibility and customization. Objects and designs are created are versatile and increase high resolution which allows for high quality print designs. The user interface has a learning curve but once learned, it is very comprehensive.

Cons

The user interface can feel a little clunky at times on smaller screens or on a laptop screen. I understand that this is due to how comprehensive the tools, but it can make it difficult to see everything on one screen at once.

### "Physical and digital design"

September 29, 2025

4.0

I have been using it for studies, personal projects and work for many years, and I believe I have not yet discovered even half of its potential.

Pros

A complete software package for designing books, magazines, flyers and digital presentations, offering many possibilities in both digital and physical formats.

Cons

It does not offer many options for simple photo editing, nor does it offer many vector editing options, so for any minor touch-ups you will need to use other software.

Pros

### "Worth the Effort to Learn How to Use"

June 3, 2025

5.0

Overall, the more I learn how to use Adobe InDesign, the more helpful it becomes. You have to invest a decent amount of time in the learning process but it could not be more worth it.

Pros

Perfect for creating original internal and external company communications, especially thought leadership articles, 1-pagers, etc. The level of customization lends to high-quality branded items.

Cons

Images placed can lose their quality during the design process and the export process. A lot of this can be fixed with specific export settings, however, sometimes I need to restart the program to get the images to export/appear clearly. This could be a bug.

Pros

Adobe InDesign is excellent for creating professional layouts like brochures, presentations, and print-ready documents. The tools are powerful, and once you get used to it, designing complex layouts becomes very smooth.

Cons

It takes time to learn, especially for beginners. The subscription cost can also feel high if you don’t use it frequently for large projects.

### "Impaginazione semplificata e accessibile"

May 13, 2025

5.0

Pros

### "InDesign Scissor Hands (Compression like a king)"

January 22, 2025

5.0

InDesign is an amazing app and I highly recommend it to anyone doing really large books down to 1 pagers. This software would be perfect if the images weren't a headache to handle.

Pros

I love that no matter how many pages and how heavily I load ID with graphics and images, the final PDF export is super light. Whatever compression works with InDesign, that is epic. The layout features and possibilities are incredible and make this a contender amongst similar apps even within the Adobe family.

Cons

The most annoying thing about InDesign is the way it handles images in the editing process. There has to be a more intuitive way of adding and editing images. Drag and drop is good but when i have to adjust the image on 2 fronts, first the actual image and then the bounding box, it slows me down in image intensive designs.

### "Adobe InDesign"

November 24, 2025

5.0

Pros

The software offered me an extremely complete set of tools. I especially appreciated the advanced text management, the high-quality typography, and the flexibility of the templates. InDesign also allowed me to create very polished documents suited for both digital and print.

Cons

The tool sometimes felt a bit demanding for new users. Some features required a learning curve, but once I got the hang of them, the overall experience was very smooth.

### "The only choice for print design!"

February 7, 2025

5.0

Indesign is so easy to use but like other Adobe apps, it's really powerful.

Pros

Started using Indesign from the first version, I never really got on with Quark and pushed my agency to Adopt it.

Cons

I think it's pretty great to be honest, I'm using a slightly older version due to my older setup.

### "Designed to Perfection"

January 13, 2025

5.0

InDesign is a key part of my workflow. It is easy for newcomers to pick up and learn and helps our team create polished and professional designs fast.

Pros

InDesign is probably the best document layout software on the market. It has tools to make grid-based or freeform layouts for everything from fliers to booklets. It is easy to drag and drop elements to build new and exciting designs.

Cons

I have very few complaints about InDesign. The process of adding, sizing, and displaying images is a bit antiquated, but otherwise the product is very polished.

### "A Great Tool for the Print Professional"

August 19, 2025

5.0

Overall, I love using InDesign to create books, posters, and other print media. I do not use it for creating web pages or other formats that it can create.

Pros

I love the ease of duplicating print layouts and expanding book layouts in intuitive ways. The follow-up step of creating templates for future use is incredibly easy.

Cons

The learning curve is a bit steep and the tool shortcuts differ from other Adobe products, which requires either customizing them to match or learning a new set of shortcuts.
