It's pretty easy and straightforward! Anyone can work this thing. Just takes a little bit of elbow grease.

Pros

I like how flexible and creative you can get! I didn't have a administrative background but this really helped me to get experience and start to learning how to create signs and posters!

Cons

I hate how laggy it can get. It pout with certain commands or when I am trying to convert it to another doc.

Pros

I love that I am able to create professional proposals for my business. Being in government contracting requires professional quotes and Adobe InDesign allows me to do that with ease.

Cons

They don't have tutorials to teach you how to use features. That would make the software that much better.

I like that their Properties, GREP styles, styles, etc. make everything more complicated at the beginning... in order to make things absolutely seamless in the middle of a given project! I'm never going back to Canva for polished publications.

Cons

The learning curve is steep, although ultimately worthwhile.

Pros

I really enjoy all the products by Adobe for graphic arts and design. InDesign is the beginning software when I am creating flyers, pamphlets for companies. User friendly and allows you to create the design you imagine.

Honestly, I haven't found anything that stands out in this software.

I've been working with Adobe InDesign since it came out and have always been impressed. I've used it for years creating for both print and digital for everything form 300 page books to business cards and flyers.

Pros

InDesign is the ultimate tool for laying out designs that are a combination of images and copy and is particularly great for text-heavy designs. There's a little bit of a learning curve because some of the features are more advanced, but this is what makes InDesign great - you have more design flexibility, more tools for consistency, and better layout tools.

Cons

I really like everything about InDesign.

He tenido muy buenas experiencias utilizando Adobe InDesign realizando desde Flyers o brochures hasta colecciones de libros de arte

Pros

Me gusta la versatilidad del programa, puedes crear cualquier cualquier tipo de publicación, tiene muchas funciones automatizadas, lo cual permite trabajar rápido y se puede dar salida sin problemas en formato digital o para impresión, de cortos o largos tirajes.

Cons

Básicamente el precio no lo hace asequible para todos y hay que estar muy al pendiente de las actualizaciones porque algunas veces hay funciones que cambia de manera drástica la manera de operarlas.

I have used this software to make a few portfolios and research booklets. I loved using InDesign since it allowed me to make everything very neat and aligned with countless fonts.

Pros

The countless features, guides, and tools that make your project come to life. It is easy to use and brings everything together and is much needed for publications.

Cons

Sometimes the scaling / framing of images was a bit tedious to deal with but still works.

C'est un logiciel complet et puissant, avec lequel on peut créer et réaliser quasiment tous les types de documents, avec une précision et une qualité irréprochable. Les mise à jours périodiques nous assurent une stabilité et l'apport de nouvelles fonctionnalités régulièrement, ainsi qu'une garanti de qualité du produit.

Pros

InDesign est une application de PAO professionnel idéale pour créer et publier des documents simples ou de plusieurs pages combinant texte, illustrations vectorielles et images. C'est un outil très précis dans la gestion des couleurs, du texte et des éléments incorporés aux documents. l'utilisation les repères, règles et grilles sont quelques éléments qui aident à créer des mises en pages avec précision. La gestion des C&J dans plusieurs langues est très appréciable. La possibilité de créer des liens interactifs dans un document, s'avère judicieuse pour la réalisation de fichiers pdf interactifs en ligne. La gestion des modules externes comme par exemple la palette "Pantone Connect" est pratique. C'est un logiciel complet, dont je n'utilise que 50% des possibilités.

Cons

Sont utilisation reste assez onéreuse, mais reste encore aujourd'hui un logiciel professionnel incontournable. Logiciel très complexe pour un novice ou un débutant, qui demandera une formation minimum pour une utilisation professionnelle.

QuarkXpress (que j'utilise encore à l'occasion) est un logiciel qui rend encore aujourd'hui bien des services en PAO et qui a connu sont heure de gloire, mais malheureusement, il n'existe plus de formations (en France) pour se former à ce logiciel, et n'est également quasiment plus utilisé dans le métier ou très très peu, il a été supplanté par Adobe InDesign. QuarkXpress (which I still use occasionally) is software which still provides many DTP services today and which has had its heyday, but unfortunately, there are no longer any training courses (in France) for train in this software, and is also almost no longer used in the profession or very very little, it has been supplanted by Adobe InDesign.

The thing I liked most about the program is a program dedicated to advertising, brochure, and presentation works that provides high quality and accuracy in graphics and innovative and modern presentation methods that keep pace with global progress at all levels of the world.

Cons

It requires high-powered computers to run the program, and it also needs some money to buy the software for the program, but it is probably the best.

Pros

I work in InDesign daily creating pieces to be sent to print. It is a massively powerful tool, I feel like I learn new features and shortcuts every day. It is almost more powerful than the average user can appreciate or utilize.

Cons

This program is not intuitive. And InDesign files cannot be edited by anyone who does not have their own subscription and a full working knowledge of the platform. I believe many users will shift to Canva for the UI and collaboration benefits alone. InDesign, however, still remains the absolute best tool for sending long-form print products to production. Canva cannot produce full books.

I love that you can control the design of your files, from typography, color, and style to spacing and alignment. The interface is user-friendly and I love how integrates easily with the rest of Adobe suite like Illustrator and Photoshop.

Cons

I'd love to see more step-by-step tutorials on some tools that are not easy to get or learn from the get-go. Some of the features seem overwhelming at first and challenging to learn quickly.

Se devi impaginare un libro, volantini o altro è la soluzione che fa per te. è nato per questo, semplice da utilizzare ottime funzionalità

Cons

un corso o qualche video è sempre utile per questo tipo di software, ai neofiti può risultare infatti "difficile"
