Nevertheless, in general, I can say that my experience of working with Final Cut Pro was very positive. Using this software helped our team a lot in creating promotional video content. I will be very glad to recommend this product to those who need video processing and editing software. I believe this software is suitable for many companies in different industries.

Pros

I had the opportunity to work with this program when I was employed by HostHelp as a Digital Marketing Assistant. In this position, I had to create promotional materials, in particular, promotional videos for the company. I can say with great confidence that this software has a lot of great qualities. For example, it has high performance, fast rendering, preview of high-resolution video, and background processing of video files. Moreover, I had the opportunity to work with this software, and I really liked it for several reasons. Firstly, this program has a large number of impressive features like multi-track editing, precision trimming, multi-cam editing, timeline management, and other advanced features. Secondly, it has a magnetic timeline that connects clips.

Cons

On the other hand, I must note that this program has some significant disadvantages and shortcomings. Firstly, it requires high-performance hardware, especially when working with 4K and 8K resolutions. Therefore, working with it may be very demanding on computer hardware. Secondly, it has a large learning curve since there are a lot of complex features like multicam, colour grading, compound clips, and many others. In addition, there are not enough third-party plugins in the software ecosystem, which is a big minus compared to similar programs.

Pros

Final Cut pro is an editor's dream! Ots always updating to stay ahead never updating to catch up. I've been able to use it more with the ever day features that i feel like I can do with other editong systems. I dont feel like i have to use it with only additional purchased add-ons to get what I need.

Cons

My least favorite thing about this program is that it is only offered for Apple computers. I do sometimes wish i could take it on the go with me on my ipad, but then again i can do basic clips and layouts through imovie and have it seemless transfer into FCPx and not miss a beat.

I have nothing but great things to say about this software. I feel that I've made some of my best videos for presentations with this software.

Pros

This is one of the greatest editing softwares for professionals. The quality output is amazing and the customer support can't be beat. The value is also really good. Very secure platform.

Cons

There is nothing to dislike. This is the best editing software you can get. I mean the absolute best money can buy.

Overall, it has been a positive experience using Final Cut Pro. Recently switched to Mac so I cannot recommend any other software tan Final Cut for simple yet effective video editing.

Pros

It is very easy to use. It runs very smoothly on a mac For someone new, it doesn't take much time to learn to use it. Creating motion related graphics is also effective and simple to use.

Cons

The only con is it works only on Apple devices.

A very good value for the money if you're planning on investing in it for the long run, my company bought it for seniors to start using it, as they mentioned it to be more advanced, the ability to edit your shots in high res, adding that cinematic mode on it and tracking the focus with object tracking sold me, the color grading is on par with high end film software and the rendering speeds on our iMacs are solid, i do recommend it if you're planning on using it on the long run.

Pros

It's one of the best video editing tools in the market for Mac users, it has unique features that a lot of other editors don't have, the object tracking feature literally is out of this world, and the cinematic mode makes you feel like as if your video was shot straight from a cinema camera, the fast rendering, the auto HDR capabilities are top notch, ability to edit the prores from iphone is perfect, and you can use it to edit 360 videos for virtual tours. all in all #1.

Cons

The price, the price is really really high, considering it's a one time payment, however if your projects are advanced and you work at a business that values top quality it's not an issue whatsoever

It does exactly what we need for our in-house video work so we aren't outsourcing every tiny edit. The export speeds are a big help when we’re in the middle of a peak season and pushing out new offers every week. It definitely wasn't cheap to get started, but honestly, it’s paid for itself by letting us keep everything internal instead of hiring agencies.

Pros

We make short promo clips for our water park attractions and seasonal packages. Final Cut handles 4K footage from our action cams without any lag, and the rendering is way faster than our old setup. The magnetic timeline is a big help too, it makes moving clips around simple whenever marketing asks for changes. Plus, I can export straight to the formats our social media team needs without having to mess with extra conversion steps.

Cons

The one-time cost really took a chunk out of our software budget, which is tough for a mid-sized operation like ours. I would’ve much preferred a monthly option that we could expense differently. Plus, it’s Mac-only, so we had to go out and buy new hardware since our department mostly runs Windows machines for ERP work. That pretty much doubled our actual investment.

Pros

It is nice to be able to easily work in Final Cut Pro when switching from other software because of how intuitive the software is. There is not a steep learning curve.

Cons

The magnetic timeline can be harder to manage for complex, layered edits as opposed to Premiere Pro.

Final Cut is what we use when we need to edit a few extra elements outside of the capabilities of iMovie. It's very powerful, seamlessly integrated into Mac OS, and simple to use at the same time.

Pros

Like most other Apple software, the fact that it's exclusively designed and optimised to integrate with their hardware and broader ecosystem, you don't ever have to think about the technicalities of it; it "just works".

Cons

While this contradicts what I like about Final Cut - the fact it's only usable on Macs, it does restrict when working across devices.

Pros

This is made a lot of my first experiences with videos and being the music industry and that this is sealed the deal multiple times when it came to getting certain projects out

The fact of how expensive it was, it took forever to get it because the price was so high for so long but once I did get it, I have put it to good use

For quick projects Final Cut Pro is amazing. For very heavy editing, you need plugins and other external resources in order to get the final result you may need.

Pros

What I like the most is the ease of use, very intuitive. It can be used by beginners as well as experienced video editors. The possibility to add tons of plugins with effects, visual overhaul, text, and audio plugins is endless, making Final Cut Pro really cheap and worth the money. I love that it is version based, and you don't have to be subscribed in order to use it. The rendering is mostly extremely fast.

Cons

The out-of-the-box effects are very limited, and you need to either create your own or use third-party plugins. Also, importing HDR videos from iPhone makes the project look so bright, it takes quite some time to figure out why and how to fix it.

This software has satisfied our needs ten-fold. We’ve created dozens of microlearnings using it and other smaller videos. It’s easy to use/beginner friendly but also powerful enough to do some really cool stuff.

Pros

Ease of use. Previously, I have only used iMovie. All of a sudden I was asked to produce microlearnings for our new LMS and Final Cut Pro was the software chosen. I felt at home immediately. I get better and better each month and I owe that to the layout and accessibility of the software itself.

Cons

I have no qualms for the software at all. If anything, I want to take the next step with my video editing skills and know I must seek training and/or instructional videos.

Pros

It's an okay program for beginners. Offers fundamental and rudimentary applications if you aren't ready for an extensive software. Good transition packs.

Cons

The software has some weird quirks. For example, the timeline is not static. You basically have to work in chronological order. You can't work on the middle or end of the project without the clips and timelines shifting around. Can be very frustrating.

Its been wonderful. I enjoy getting an idea and figuring it out on final cut pro. If you think it, you can do it. Most likely with some help from those on youtube that are better at it.

Pros

I have been using Final Cut for a long time. When I was a student in highschool this was a really hard tool to use. We used it because it was a great product but it was very difficult. I remember seeing a library of manuals for it in our lab. However, years ago they came out with FCPX and it is very user friendly now for the basics, yet still has the depth to do anything.

Cons

Wish their was more transitions, effects, etc. You can find tons of this online for a cost or even free sometimes but I wish the program itself had more to start with.

This tool makes my work easy. The duration of the video is never a problem now. Just drag and drop, add and cut, use effects and transitions. Done! The video is ready for uploading . This is far the best option for editing videos. 2 words to describe it: Fast and Easy!

Pros

This software interface is very user friendly. Dragging and dropping the video on the timeline directly saves a lot of time. The effects and transitions can easily be applied to one part or the full project which makes the process very fast and smooth. The exporting options like directly uploading videos to a youtube channel directly is very helpful.

Cons

As this software is premium the best tools and plugins costs a lot of money. So the only downside is the pricing. Because of the price range a lot of my team members can not afford it. If more free tools and plugins were available then undoubtedly the users would be benefited.

As a content creator, this program fully satisfies my needs. Final Cut Pro lets me easily YouTube videos.

Pros

When I transitioned from Windows to macOS, Final Cut Pro was one of the first programs I installed. Being a beginner, I found it intuitive and got the hang of it in no time. With lots of tutorials available on the Internet on how to get specific things done with the software, I was never stuck, even as a beginner. When compared with the main competition, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro is a lot cheaper, and the one-off purchase price saves one a lot of money in the long run.

Cons

Apart from the limited number of effects you get by default, there isn't much to complain about.

Pros

I think the timeline setup in FCP is one of the most simple and user-friendly I've ever encountered. It's intuitive and does things in a way that makes sense. Clips automatically move when you place a clip between them instead of overwriting the other clip. Secondary features (like text or elements) are smaller than your main content. These are the little things that matter! I also think the shortcuts in FCP are super helpful and easy to access.

Cons

I am a user of both FCP and Premiere. I personally like Premiere better because it feels more robust and has a better suite of corresponding products like After Effects, Photoshop, etc. I like to integrate projects from other programs into my video projects and that integration is seamless when you're using the same product line. I like using FCP for simpler projects where I just need to pop a few things in a timeline, add a pan/zoom, and call it a day. But that's not always the right fit in video editing.

My first experience with Final Cut was on the FCP7, while collaborating with a marketing agency handling promotional content for a side hustle I was launching. Seeing how seamless the guy was breezing through the creation process pushed me to give it a try myself for a subsequent project. The price was higher than I thought, but was absolutely worth it.

Pros

It handles a wide variety of input formats, and has never struggled with any of them. I also find the output file preconfigured options quite useful, meaning I don't have to manually tinker with the output settings to tailor my videos for whatever particular purpose it is intended. I only get to point and pick. Another great thing about Final Cut is the user interface, just as most other apple products, absolutely beautiful and functional.

Cons

Integration options with non-apple products is either too difficult or completely non-existent.
