It also allows for tighter control of user access thru Lifecycles, roles and groups. Pros The ability to have the tool accessible globally with distributed databases (Workgroups) all pointing to a central Publisher allows better stability and usability for large global deployments. Cons When the software re-indexes with a large global database it takes a long time and makes searching difficult. Up until the move to Version 2022 the ownership of files across multiple servers caused many issues but has since been corrected with the 2022 version.
