Pros

Inventory invoices for our product is easy to navigate

Cons

I feel like the invoices for packing slips could be updated some. It would be easier to be able to change a vendor name or amount with out having to void the invoice and restart at the entering process.

Customer service is amazing, Tech support is always on point.

Pros

Everything working together, one product to do everything

Cons

Overall costs is way too high, especially for something with so many glitches. At the end of the day its jut a piece of software and having to pay more and more every month for more users is getting out of control.

I am familiar with all options and in spite of shortcomings I feel lightspeed is the best.

Pros

The software looks after all aspects of all departments of our business

Cons

Reporting is n sufficient. Many basic features are missing from this software.

Reason for choosing Lightspeed

More pros than cons. Pre-developed software always misses some items and Lightspeed seemed the best fit.

### "outdoor world review"

System is user friendly and the online help works very well. However support sometimes is slow to get responses.

Pros

CRM element throughout the system and the reporting element. The mobile app and the relatively quick addition of new features.

Cons

Building reports and trying to integrate two reports.

We are doing better at keeping up with customers and communication.

Pros

The texting and being able to keep up with customers is the most useful thing as well as adding photos to work orders.

Cons

The system is way too complicated to get simple tasks completed like parts ordering/receiving and needs to be simplified/less steps.

tracking movement of product, tracking service repair orders, tracking accounting in sales and service.

Cons

there are several items that need updated/upgraded in the service sector on the scheduler and repair orders however, lightspeed does well in listening and attempting to add these

Pros

The integration of the software to provide website updates is fantastic. There is also a robust dealer network already in place for unit and parts location and transfers

Cons

The major con to this software is that there is not anyway to have a local backup of data. Everything is on a server at a different location. Because it is internet based, any internet hiccup makes running the business near impossible. However, that is the world we live in now.

Cons

the inability to be logged into multiple terminals with the same user is extremely inconvenient at times.

My experience with the software has been favorable and seems to work well for us.

Pros

I think the system is easy to use and very manageable

Cons

We used to be able to do a search in parts inventory for items from a particular vendor which was very handy. Can't do that any more. When at the buying show, I was hooked up lightspeed on my I Pad. While trying to make purchase decisions, 2 things are mandatory; sales history and product cost. Neither are available through the app that runs it. Spoke to the guys at the show about it.

We had hoped lightspeed would help further streamline things but it continues to be cumbersome.

Pros

What I liked most was the apparent integration which we have found to be far from user friendly

Cons

Our inventory still does not function properly and getting pricing added we are nickel and dimed. The software is not intuitive and is difficult to use.

Reason for choosing Lightspeed

We chose lightspeed since we had already been using it but we have found the newer version to be cumbersome and not as compadible as we hoped.

### "Lightyears ahead of the competition"

Pros

I love the reporting capabilities. Anything I need can be pulled together in a report and exported to Excel so the data can be cross referenced with other reports and aid our buying decisions. I also like being able to see what other dealers have in stock.

Cons

Sometimes certain aspects don't function as logically as they should be. I would like to see the ability to sort inside part invoices so it prints in the order I choose which would aid in picking from bin locations.

Lightspeed works well for running our multiline powersports store. It's easy getting new staff up to speed and the reporting is excellent.

Cons

It tends to go to sleep if you leave it alone for more than 10 minutes and is super slow to wake up.
