ActiveBuilding is a great portal for residents. Especially residents in a tight nit community. Aside from the basics like paying rent with auto payments or submitting maintenance requests, you can also post to the community page or message other residents privately. It asks for consent, so it isn't selling or giving your info away.

Pros

The ability to post to a community feed with other residents. You could buy, sell, update, inform, and message other neighbors.

Cons

Setting up auto-payments or adding new credit cards seemed to always have difficulty.
