The latest updates (October 2021) make masking so much easier. Pros Lightroom makes editing and organizing photos incredibly easy. The tools available allow you to edit photos without the need for Photoshop. With the continued updates, there’s no reason to look at other software. Cons I wish they would merge Lightroom & Lightroom Classic into one application. The ability to sync files/folders is nice (between versions) but one application would be better. It allows you to do all the basic editing. One of the advantages is that it stores all your photos with their characteristics, which makes things easier for you if you want to find one in particular. Obviously, a big advantage if you have trouble editing your photo is the automatic editing tool that takes care of making all the necessary changes to your photo for you. Many times I consider tutorials to be too slow and end up skipping them. The Lightroom tutorial was short and to the point, giving users just enough to get them started successfully on their project. Cons It is a little bit difficult to reopen an image that you were working on in the past. Somehow all of my past and present image projects are all in the same workspace. It would be nice to have a more customizable organization system in Lightroom, such as folders or sort by date. Cons Why is there is such a HUGE difference between lightroom Mobile and Classic. Classic provides much more in-depth editing but wow is it a great learning curve. It is designed so differently than the Mobile version, it's like learning a whole new program. It should be simplified or both programs should be designed similarly. Cons La cosa che putroppo non mi piace di questo software è l'abbonamento mensile. Preferisco comprare e pagare una sola volta magari anche di più per utilizzare un determinato programma. I love being able to access all my phones on my phone from the platform. Cons I don't like how long it takes to sync the photos on my phone, when I need them as soon as possible and they're all on my laptop theres like half or part on my phone and I just wait all day hoping it'll sync up but I need to be active on my laptop or it doesn't load. so annoying. But after it changed to subscription mode, I quit. I can't afford a subscription. It is still a powerful software for professionals. By purchasing a subscription plan, you can also get cloud storage to back up your works. Cons I am not a professional photographer and just edit some photos after traveling.
