Student Council Advisor Primary/Secondary Education Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Ticketing 4 Schools Review" July 21, 2020 5.0 This has created a fantastic way to track attendance both at a meeting and at large, ticketed events. This way we can definitely say who was there an when. Additionally, the time left feature allows us to have a record of exactly when a student was at the event in case a parent should question their attendance (which has happened). Pros This is a very versatile piece of software. We use it in a variety of applications from attendance at meetings to ticket sales for our prom which can include up to 1000 students. It is intuitive enough that the students can set it up themselves for their meeting attendance. This allows us to determine when students arrive to meetings and if some are consistently late or do not attend. For our paid events, it is a seamless way to keep track of tickets without a physical ticket. The feature that ties out of school guests to a ticket is especially useful. Cons The one feature I'd like to see improved is for certain users not to be able to see all other ticketed events. As we use this for attendance check in and to sell expensive prom tickets, I'd like those who are setting up the attendance not have access to the tickets events. Additionally, I would like other advisors who use the software to not necessarily have access to events that I set up. Easy to use, web-based solution! Pros We love using Ticketing 4 Schools at our high school. We’ve used it for many years to presell dance tickets and track who actually attends our dances. The school administration appreciates the easy to run reports and that we can quickly determine if a particular student came to the dance. Many other schools in our city have sent people to see how we run our dances, and the ticketing software always gets many compliments. Cons I have no complaints. Software4Schools has regularly updated the software and they’ve added the features that we needed that didn’t used to be there. They provide quick email support when things go wrong. July 15, 2020 4.0 Pros We use Ticketing4Schools for school dances, spirit points, and other events. It has streamlined our ticket sales processes, made it more common for our students to carry their student IDs on them, and made check-in much faster. There have been some hiccups, but I have been able to contact Ticketing4Schools and the issues have been addressed as best as possible. Customer service has been great! Cons I wish there were more groups that we could use or a way to assign a student to more than one group, if possible. Reason for choosing Ticketing 4 Schools We already had Voting4Schools software and this felt like it integrated better with other parameters we already had set up. Pros I love how easy and cost-efficient the program is! The learning curve to use it has been such a breeze for my coworkers. Cons A feature missing is RDFI scanning. I think our software can actually work with RFID you just need the right input (reader). June 28, 2020 5.0 Pros My district is getting firmer about accountability in ticket sales for our theatre productions. No longer do they accept the first and last numbers from a ticket roll! By scanning school i.d. I can easily keep track of how many, and who is in attendance. And when the show is over, it's easy to print a document that can be submitted to administration. Cons No cons. Once I learned to use, very easy to power up. Students love it. Wouldn’t want to think of running a dance without it Pros Easy to set up and quick and easy to scan students into dances events using ID cards. Checked students into a dance in a fraction of the time it would have taken in the past. Guests and chaperones were all amazed how quick and efficient it was. Set up & sold tickets in one day Cons There really wasn’t anything! Just with school shutdown we didn’t get to utilize ticketing 4 schools as much as expected.
