Reviewers praise ShiftCare for its effective shift management capabilities. They find the progress notes feature particularly useful, allowing staff to document their shifts easily before heading home. Moreover, the mobile app functionality is well-received, enabling both admin and employees to access and manage shifts conveniently from their phones.

Pros

  • The ease of the scheduling system, and simplicity of the billing and invoicing and the helpful support staff at Shift Care.

  • The scheduler and level of detail able to be added to ShiftCare for both clients and staff is fantastic. Love the price book too.

  • Easy to use, Shiftcare themselves have great communication and customer service skills, Answered all my questions and were able to help us effectively take off.

  • The great thing about ShiftCare is that it is easy to use, has a feature for progress notes and mileage which is required for us. It suits the business well and I would recommend it.

Cons

  • I am a sole trader so I am the only worker but I have to pay for 5 staff that I don’t have.

  • Billing feature is poor, causes time management to suffer. Support experience not consistent.

  • No I don't have a big dislike yet. Probably the fact you can drop and drag a file into the instructions for employees is frustrating.

  • Invoicing: I find it hard to use it since it often does not completely match the reality of what we need have to pay (to staff) or charge (to clients).

"Shiftcare makes managing our support service easy"

Overall: Its very satisfactory

Pros: Its meets the needs of our NDIS business.

Cons: I dont like the way information from Shiftcare appears on invoices and payslips.

"Best decision we made!"

Overall: After having headache after headache with our last software, I finally found Shiftcare and it was the answer to all of our problems! Shiftcare and it's team, were everything that we needed, from customer service excellence to software proficiency! Sometimes we all dread change but this was by far the best change we have had yet! Thank you to the team for making the transition smooth and effortless!

Pros: Shiftcare was by far, the best decision we made! It not only cut my costs to a fraction of the last company but the customer service is amazing and the software is seamless!

Cons: I really have no complaints, and any requests for features I would like, are being worked on by the team! They have been very attentive and understanding!

Reasons for Choosing ShiftCare: The price and customer service was better than competition.
Switched From: CareSmartz360
Reasons for Switching to ShiftCare: The other company had less than average customer service. The other company erroneously charged me plus required me to provide them with a card to charge monthly though never providing me with a detailed invoice ahead of time. They would provide one if I asked. The other company charged me per client which became very expensive and when I asked for a lower price, they gave a very small discount per client which did not amount to a reasonable deal. When I discussed all of my concerns the customer satisfaction specialist raised his voice and attempted to argue with me. Honestly, it was a very stressful situation that I am glad to have behind me. Shiftcare is 100% different and better because of it.

"It does what it needs to "

Overall: It’s been good learning the process

Pros: I like the scheduling part very easy after you learn it

Cons: It’s hard to understand at first but after you learn it it’s fairly easy

"Makes our life a lot easier!"

Overall: ShiftCare has streamlined our scheduling and client management, making daily operations smoother and more efficient

Pros: Love the reliability and the way our staff interact with it. The Job Board is one of our favourite time saving features

Cons: Scheduling form a mobile device can be fiddly sometimes, but no a big deal

"Best business decision this year"

Overall: support is amazing, easy for our team to take on and learn.

Pros: Shift Care has made a huge improvement to our efficiency and reduced time and errors in payroll and invoicing. Together with Pay Cat we are compliant and all our team are happier.

Cons: nothing stands out, there are some issues with scheduling travel in the best way, however overall a big improvement for our company.

Reasons for Choosing ShiftCare: Ease of use, functionality and support via the implementation team, and the online help features.
