My experiences with ShiftCare have been so positive. I set up ShiftCare for my organisation and was able to access the Support Team immediately for any questions or assistance.

Pros

The Help Centre contains easy videos and guides to support new users and the Support Team are remarkable with response time and resolution of issues. ShiftCare is intuitive and work flows organically which supports a consistent staff work practice.

Cons

It would be great to have folder options in the documents section and an alert at the top of the page in red to easily identify high risk information for staff.

Overall, it functions quite well. But I would love additional features to make it really useful and efficient for our work.

Pros

Mostly easy to roster and capture client info. It's reasonably intuitive.

Cons

I have selected to receive only certain email notifications but receive all of them instead. I emailed the shiftcare team about this issue months ago and never received a reply. I would like an option for admin/service delivery to capture notes on clients, more like a CRM function. If we write shift notes against our admin shift, we can't attach a client name to put it on their profile. We are now using a separate program for this. The document upload button is at the bottom of the page and you always have to scroll down to find it - really annoying once you have a long list of documents. I can create new types of staff qualifications in the settings section, but I can't find how to add these qualifications to staff profiles. I would prefer all of the screens to just scroll down instead of having to click to the next page to view everything. For admin shifts, can you easily add in a lunch break without having to create a split shift? I'd like to easily be able to export individual incident reports into OUR template in Word or PDF - the export for communications at the moment is pretty ugly and is only in PDF.

Yeah, it's an ok system. Could be more straight forward - have to click too many buttons to do something which is annoying.

Pros

Sending SMS through it. Self explanatory system.

Cons

Character limit on SMS No pop-up option for important information when clicking into a client profile. Limited tool for support coordination e.g budgeting, support planning and automated forms i.e services agreements, support plans. Too many areas where times are included when adding a shift i.e: billing, client and support worker times - just have all one time as this causes problems.

The customer service has been exceptional, the software is great value for money and the experience using ShiftCare has been overwhelmingly positive.

Pros

ShiftCare has been great for keeping the client documents secure and easy to access for clients and staff. Scheduling is easy with a good amount of customisability, allowing me to add a good amount of detail to shifts for workers. ShiftCare linking to Xero has been great for streamlining invoicing, which has saved plenty of admin time. I have not had any issues using the app yet after over 12 months. I am confident that if there were any issues with the app or any of the software that it would be solved quickly. The customer service has been very responsive, efficient and the staff have been friendly, helpful and their service has been above and beyond.

Cons

There are times that I have been unsure of how to complete something in the software or the app. However, there are plenty of resources that can be accessed on the ShiftCare website and on YouTube to support learning how to use the software. The customer service has also been very helpful.

After having headache after headache with our last software, I finally found Shiftcare and it was the answer to all of our problems! Shiftcare and it's team, were everything that we needed, from customer service excellence to software proficiency! Sometimes we all dread change but this was by far the best change we have had yet! Thank you to the team for making the transition smooth and effortless!

The other company had less than average customer service. The other company erroneously charged me plus required me to provide them with a card to charge monthly though never providing me with a detailed invoice ahead of time. They would provide one if I asked. The other company charged me per client which became very expensive and when I asked for a lower price, they gave a very small discount per client which did not amount to a reasonable deal. When I discussed all of my concerns the customer satisfaction specialist raised his voice and attempted to argue with me. Honestly, it was a very stressful situation that I am glad to have behind me. Shiftcare is 100% different and better because of it.

It's have been great. The weekly onboarding support catch-up with a representative has been fantastic.

Pros

The basics of a client management system are the same as any other product on the market. What makes Shiftcare stand out for an NDIS business is - GPS clock in a clock out function: Reduces risk of fraud. - Seamless integration with payroll and accounting software - Reduces double handling of information - Customised templates to meet business needs

Cons

\- Automatic address suggestion has USA addresses in there. Just make it Australia-specific.

Overall I am very satisfied with ShiftCare. You won't find a single system out there that won't incur feedback with personal preferences and I think overall, ShiftCre has nailed it.Notes and communication is should be easily recorded and separated, for example keep shift notes, incidents and case notes separate.

Pros

Incredibly simple to use, it syncs with accounting systems so well. It has been very easy to use and navigate and very minimal training required to use it. The app is very easy to use also, I love the constant support and information provided by ShiftCare and very rarely are there technical issues if any at all.Some systems over complicate things with their set outs and when there are too many options and functions it makes it overwhelming and that's why I love the simplicity of ShiftCare.I also find the colours great, I can be sensitive to certain colours being too bright or when there are too many colours it can also be overwhelming and I think ShiftCare has found the perfect balance.I love that ShiftCare simplifies everything and does a lot of the work for you. The reporting system is incredibly simple and easy to use as well.

Cons

I love how you can add things to the system like forms ect to work with your in-house documents. It would be great if there was a bulk upload for documents to save time.The schedule when opened should reflect the current week to avoid rostering errors.I also feel that shift care is slightly too expensive for app only users as well.

My overall experience with shiftcare has been a positive one, where all the work and time is done through this software, I have been able to get back Time to do other important duties in my role in the business. Shiftcare has definitely been a product that has taken a lot of the stress away from day to day duties and would highly recommend this product to all my friends, which I am current doing anyway.

Pros

When training staff how to use this software I liked the fact that I was able to show them on You tube how this product is used where our supports workers can easily clock in and out of shifts, especially having to input various tasks that they needed to complete in order to clock out. the ease of reporting their current movements and care for the client and being able to share any concerns via the shift care app. One other area that was easy was approving our workers time sheets, and adding areas like KM to their travel.

Cons

There is an area that will need improvement and it would be in the incident report, where it just needs NDIS requirements e.g. What happened before the incident? during incident and after incident , and was there anyway they could avoid this incident in the future... Even adding triggers that may have caused this incident.

### "Essential Software for Managing Community Support Workers"

ShiftCare provides a secure central point for my team to enter and review client case notes from the mobile phone app. This was the primary function for which I signed up to ShiftCare. I have since upgraded to the top level of subscription to provide my team with the ability to enter their own shifts. This functionality more than justifies the additional expense of the top tier subscription in terms of the time that it saves me in not having to enter each shift myself. There are still some features that could use further development (Caregiver access to client details from the mobile app without needing to add this separately in a different section, Caregiver ability to enter shifts from the desktop app, functionality to add and update medication names, dosages and times) however I have seen a number of updates adding additional functionality since I subscribed to this product. ShiftCare is arguably the most useful tool my business uses.

Pros

ShiftCare provides a comprehensive platform for me to manage staff and clients in my small NDIS business providing psychosocial supports to people in their homes and in the community. In real time I can see when and where staff log on and off shifts, and when they enter case notes and mileage. I especially like the functionality of staff being able to enter their own shifts, meaning that they don't need to contact me when organising ad-hoc appointments with their clients.

Cons

Due to the nature of our work - visiting a number of different clients in different locations during the same day - I find it time consuming to schedule individual appointments for each client then enter separate blocks of time to fill in between appointments to capture a staff member's entire shift i.e. if a staff member is working from 10am to 6pm and seeing 3 clients in different locations during that time, I need to enter each client visit separately then create dummy appointments for paid time between clients.

It's a hard start because it has so many elements to it but I think it'll be that way with any shift management app. I like that support is easy to contact and very responsive but it can be quite a pain and frustration dealing with all the issues that pop up sometimes. Worth the price and they're always developing new features which I like.

Pros

Shiftcare is quite easy to introduce to users, has a good pricing structure that makes it very reasonable unlike per client software, as well as generally being responsive. The people working it generally know the app very well and worst case the higher ups can get involved to problem solve which is quite good knowing the support to resolve issues is there, which I haven't experienced with bigger tech firms.

Cons

Really niggly issues that shouldn't be an issue end up being a massive issue and taking a lot of admin time. Like pricing details not updating on newer shifts, invoicing issues (NDIA reject the smallest error and it's digging for a needle in a haystrack with Shiftcare so I invoice manually which takes a whole day). Some apps generate service agreements which is a huge drawback for this and adds so much admin time. The niggling issues are a nightmare some days, like adding users to Xero.

Over-all very positive.

Pros

ShiftCare seems to be a great place which offers many critical features to a company, all relatively easy to access and helpful. It integrates with Xero which is amazing as it helps with invoices which are otherwise painful. Sammy Wilkins was amazing and helpful and walked My partner and I through most issues, I couldn't speak highly enough about her and she is one of the reasons we have chose this platform.

Cons

Integration of Xero is a bit clunky and requires a bit of help to understand what's going on and where. It takes a little searching around areas to find things but there's probably not much that can be done about this.

I'm relieved that I found ShiftCare; rostering staff can be tricky, however, ShiftCare makes it simple. My staff all enjoy using ShiftCare as it organises tasks and progress notes.

Pros

It's super easy to navigate and understand for both our administration and support workers.

Cons

Thankfully, we haven't had any problems thus far.

### "Easy to use software for our private homecare business"

We have only needed to use the online technical assistance to help us understand the software. So far everything has met our needs. Any time that I have emailed a ShiftCare representative, their response has always been efficient, friendly and professional.

Pros

We have found ShiftCare very easy to get started and affordable for start-up businesses like ours. We like the clock-in and out feature for staff members to use and the scheduler is very effective ensuring our client service times don't overlap. The document hub for staff certifications tells us as soon as any staff documents are out of date and we need to follow up. So far we haven't hit any major snags but if we do, I know that the back up customer support is available and efficient. There is plenty of information on the app (What's New on ShiftCare section to keep you informed but also know you can get in contact with the ShiftCare staff anytime and they can help you.

Cons

Nothing yet, still learning all the features and tailoring the software to meet our small business needs.
