C'était infiniment plus puissant et facile à déployer que ASP, qui était le seul vrai concurrent à l'époque. Moet je dit nog leren dan heb je daar wel de tijd voor nodig. Het is geen goedkoop programma dus begin optijd met leren! Pros Lang bestaand programma dus het heeft de meeste vormen van gebruiksgemak ondertussen wel ontwikkeld. Maakt het makkelijker om te gebruiken dan nieuwere programmas omdat deze vaker bugs bevatten. Daarnaast draait het op Windows, Linux en MacOS. Cons Geen nieuwe update meer sinds 2018, mag van mij wel verandering in komen. Het is toch wel weer 5 jaar oude software waar je mee werkt. If you're willing to invest in a quality solution, then ColdFusion can be an excellent option. Pros I used Adobe ColdFusion for 2 months and was overall satisfied with this web development platform. What I liked the most was the speed of development and ease of use. With CFML, I was able to quickly create dynamic web applications and web services without needing to know more complex programming languages. Additionally, the platform is user-friendly and offers easy integration with other technologies. Cons The downside of this platform is its cost. Compared to other web development solutions, ColdFusion is relatively expensive. Additionally, the user interface could be improved to offer a more user-friendly experience. Pros Adobe ColdFusion is the best server-side programming language we have used in the 25+ years serving our clients. The language itself is powerful and easy to read which makes developing in large teams just as easy as coding solo. Server-side deployments are extremely easy and can be done either via manual installation, docker images thanks to Adobe, or Commandbox. Cons Adobe is slow to push out feature updates and hotfixes. Most of our servers are on ColdFusion 2018 and haven't seen a hotfix in far too long. There are outstanding issues which need addressing.
