It's too late to return to Lightroom so I just tolerate the inadequacies. Pros I like the ability to find your photos through file folders instead of having to import them as you do in Lightroom. The photo editor itself is quite good. I like sync if it works as it imports your photos from your phone. Cons ACDSEE sync. Never seems to work. I can get it to work with an older ACDSee program 2020 but sync does not function at all in the 2023 version. Support just stopped contacting me. So I need to load my 2020 program on another computer, and then transfer the photos with a USB. I wish they would please fix it. It is also not based on subscription so once you purchase you have it for a longer time. Integration of AI capabilities has been a welcome addition. December 6, 2022 5.0 ACDSee photo editor (I use the Ultimate version) has been a game changer for my photography side business. It provides all the functionality I need for image management and post-processing. It is yet to let me down (so long as I don't try running it on an under-spec'ed machine). Pros I love using ACDSee. Photo management, image development and poweful image editing all rolled into one. My moderately spec'ed computer manages it well, so workflow is reasonably fast.Import/export is painless, batch editing is helpful, colour management is simple.I particularly like how affordable ACDSee is for my very small business compared to the alternatives. Cons I've never been a Photoshop user so cannot compare features. There will surely be differences but I'm yet to be disappointed or held back by ACDSee's functionality.One thing that Photoshop does have over ACDSee is an abundance of tutorials, demonstrations and help available from the large user base online. The ACDSee documentation is helpful though so, if you can live with being "in the minority", the money you save by using ACDSee's excellent product is definitely worthwhile.
