### "The Ultimate Companion for Quick Ideas and Unmatched Simplicity"

February 12, 2026

5.0

A fantastic and seamless experience thanks to the app's incredible speed in syncing voice and text notes between mobile and desktop, making it the perfect tool for capturing ideas the moment they arise.

Pros

The beauty of the app lies in its absolute simplicity and the speed of capturing fleeting thoughts, along with the seamless, completely free synchronization across all devices without any complexity.

Cons

The app is perfect for quick notes, but it lacks advanced formatting options and the ability to organize large, complex projects that require a deep hierarchical structure.

### "Google Keep"

April 24, 2025

5.0

Google Keep offers the best experience for keeping notes and checklists. Integrates with other Google products seamless and is easy to use.

Pros

It integrates very nice with Gmail and Google Calendar. Adding contributors to notes and checklists is very important for as it offers a better workflow for the whole team. Also the labeling system work very good for me, helping in organizing everything.

Cons

Google Keep is missing the import and export option, it would be a very nice addition.

### "Keep on Keepin' On!"

April 7, 2026

5.0

Keep has helped me to store and organize links, reminders, photos, and lots of other information over the years.

Pros

I love that I can save various types of information in Google Keep. It's convenient because I can use it on multiple devices, and it all syncs together.

Cons

It is difficult to find something that I do not like about Google Keep. It is helpful in keeping me organized, and has features that I like. I would say it's not the flashiest or fanciest app, but it does the basics.

### "What a strange little product--but I use it every day"

January 1, 2022

3.0

Keep really doesn't know what it wants to be -- a to do list, a stick notes app, or a web clipper to compete with Evernote, or what? All I know is that it's pervasive across all my devices and installed on my Pixel phones, so it's super handy and the default when I need to get something out of my head, so despite all these short-comings, I still use it and will "keep" using it (haha, sorry for the pun).

Pros

Keep is dead simple. Write a note, maybe make it a list or add a picture. No learning curve, no saving, no files or folders. You can add colors or labels if you like, but what I love most is the powerful search built in that instantly brings up one of my hundreds of notes, even archived ones. I do use the colors as well with a pretty deep system of categories, but I ran out of colors for new categories a long time ago because of the limited number of choices.

Cons

Keep drives me crazy. New features are very rare. You can't even do rich text formatting! Lists are totally inflexible other than simple indentation for a pseudo subtask motif.

It has helped me really streamline my workflow at Suho Garmindo by allowing me to log defects and ideas quickly while testing, keeping them all in one easy-to-find location.

Pros

I love how Google Keep syncs across my devices or google account instantly, meaning I can take some testing notes on the go and have access to them later.

Cons

I don’t like that the organization options are limited. Thank God for tagging and color-coding, but it can feel cluttered when I’m tracking multiple QA tasks.

Google Keep is a complex yet simple to use note taking app. The design is simple and intuitive offering simplicity and quick accessibility as it integrating very well with Google ecosystem.

Pros

The most neat feature for me is the labeling, it allows me to separate different notes by my criteria. Also sharable checklists are a useful features as it allows to easily complete tasks for different projects for work, or even shopping lists. The app is versatile as is available as a web app that you can access from a browser or as a smartphone app.

Cons

I love that Google Keep helps me stay organized with notes. I love the color coding and list feature that you can check off.

Pros

I started using Google Keep on my phone. I keep notes in it and I pin documents that I need at the top. I make lots of lists using this app as well. And, I like that it is a shared document between my phone and computer.

Cons

I am not sure of the difference between archive and trash. Also, I would like to figure out how to hide some notes but categorize them if needed later.

### "Splendid syncing of notes, basic but very relevant in 2024"

August 29, 2024

4.0

The most interconnected software for note taking that succeeds in 8/10 scenarios. Google has also integrated this with its accounts so notes are synced with the same data per account.

Pros

It offers the basic idea of an online notebook and the tools remain relevant due to cross device sync & compatibility.

Cons

It is too compartmented with boxes and a lack of design tools that allow for individual choice of tools, missing out on handwritten items and designs.

### "An Everyday Companion for Note Taking and More"

September 30, 2022

5.0

Google Keep helps me to stay organized with lists, especially to-do lists. This is essential for the way that I run my business. I take down everything that needs to be done in google keep, utilize the checkbox features which allows you to slide items up and down in order in a list. That allows me to prioritize the items on my list. After prioritizing my list, I can schedule each item as an appointment in my google calendar.

Pros

What I like most about Google Keep is its ease of use. When using Keep it is very easy to catch onto how to use it. The UI puts everything front and center, making it easy to find the most used features in every scenario. I also love that Keep is available anywhere I have an internet connection. The app is on my phone, my iPad and my laptop.

Cons

What I like least about Google Keep is that it does not file notes into folders. Generally, folders can help create a cleaner UI , where as having every note show up on the main screen of the app can feel cluttered and overwhelming at times.

### "Google Keep"

March 24, 2025

5.0

Google Keep is very easy to use and it has a simple user interface. Organizing notes is very easy with the labeling system and colors. Another feature I use is the collaboration, I can share my notes with others, they can fill checklists or edit notes.

Pros

I can say that the synchronization between the devices is the best best feature that comes to my mind. I can use it on any device I have closer to me and I know that the update is everywhere, even on the devices where I have shared my notes.

Cons

Importing is not an option with Google Keep.

### "It has helped me note down everything."

November 17, 2024

5.0

Google Keep is the app that simplified my brain and improved my productivity. My notepad is the device that always comes with me to catch random thoughts when they arise, little notes for myself and my never ending list of things to do.

Pros

Google Keep is a digital notepad that works best for capturing ideas, simple to-dos, and reminders in the moment. It is simple, allows to color-code during-note text and sync everything between my devices. It is like a sticky note for every thought, always accessible.

Cons

It is great for taking quick notes, but it lacks advanced features you may find in more fully-featured note-taking apps such as rich text formatting or detailed organization options.

### "Highly Recommend for Google Users"

October 22, 2024

5.0

I love using Google Keep. Especially since I use Google as a platform for my everyday work. It makes transferring data across platforms so easy. Especially with Google Keep. All my documents in one place with easy access is game changing for the work environment. Strongly recommend Google Keep!

Pros

So easy to use this app. The transfer of data between other Google softwares is what really makes this software worth using. Lots of great templates and tools that can be utilized to your advantage. The price is hard to beat as well. Using it with Gmail is so easy and efficient as well.

Cons

There is a little bit of a formatting limitation in some aspects, but nothing that would make it "not worth" using, so to speak. There is also no offline access, but that's not a dealbreaker.

Google Keep is keeping me organized and capturing thoughts on the fly. It is a helpful for lists, notes in meeting and to save quick thoughts.

Pros

The simplicity and integration with other Google services make it a great note-taking app. The ability to just jot something down quickly, make checklists and add images or voice memos is nice.

Cons

As Google Note-keeping can be utilized for basic note-taking, it may not offer as many advanced capabilities for more sophisticated organization of notes or collaboration.

### "Very easy for short notes/ tasks"

May 7, 2024

5.0

It is a very nice Google feature. I find it very attractive to keep short notes/ tasks handy (either on my web browser or my mobile phone). It's a nice tool for corporate scenarios, but also for more basic/ home-based ones such as shopping list/ etc.

Pros

Awesome when it comes to keeping easy track of notes/ tasks. It's just very simple to have a specific tab in the browser for G-Keep and go there anytime to add notes. The different Tags are also great for organizing the note types. Very convenient as well to assign tasks/ notes to people and/ or collaborate. The synced mobile app is also very nice and easy to utilize (btw, great voice-recognition feature for on-the-go voice-based notes creation).

Cons

Not very convenient if you need to document large stuff/ extensive notes.

### "A fairly realiable system for taking notes and storing them over a long period of time.."

July 4, 2022

4.0

I must admit that our general experience has been positive despite the negative things that I have mentioned previously, there are still things to improve within Google Keep as what I mentioned previously, the design of the notes has to be improved, so that the notes have a much more attractive and more colorful background, in addition, the transfer system of these notes has to be improved to facilitate sending them to specific people. Our general expxerience has been positive because day by day this platform helps us to takes notes within the company, we can write anythin in these notes and store them for later, in addition, we can add reminders to these notes to access them in an hour or specific date. I'm pleased with the general functionality of Google Keep, it is a fairly easy software to use and it connects immediately with my Google account, so there is no need to create any additional account in order to use the software.

Pros

The first thing that I like about Google Keep is that it allows me to make a much more complete note-taking, because this application allows me to insert images or videos in the note that I'm making at a specific moment, this helps the note be much more complete. Another thing that I like about Google Keep is that all the notes are stored in the Google cloud no matter how long it takes, for example, I can create a note and leave it there even more that five years, in the same way I will have access to that note wth all the information that was previously written, this is amazing since I can store information for a long time. I should also mention that I love the feature of adding tags to notes, because these tags help me find specific notes, I can add custom tags and it makes it so much easier for me to find notes for a specific topic.

Cons

The first thing I don't like about Google Keep is that in order to transfer one onf the previously described notes, you must transfer this note to Google documents, this way you can transfer a shared link to another person, it is not possible to transfer this note directly from the Google Keep app, and this is really annoying. Another thing that I do not like about this platform is that it is not possible to add a personalized design to the notes that you have written, you can only add a black backgroung or a white background to the notes, it is not possible to add your own design or a much more attractive design to the notes.

### "Essential tool for my daily tasks"

July 1, 2022

5.0

I've been using it for years and it has become my biggest store of important information. Today I have a label for almost everything. Shopping list, list with important passwords, things to do, etc.

Pros

Today I use google keep to store all my to-do lists. I create notes with checklists with all the tasks of the day or even a small list of company purchases. I can share notes with all my co-workers. It is possible to create different labels for different subjects, making google keep more organized and functional

Cons

I would love to have integration with systems that send emails or even send messages in other applications. The extensions I use in google chrome do not always deliver notifications with visual alerts in the browser.
