### "The Ultimate Companion for Quick Ideas and Unmatched Simplicity"

February 12, 2026

5.0

A fantastic and seamless experience thanks to the app's incredible speed in syncing voice and text notes between mobile and desktop, making it the perfect tool for capturing ideas the moment they arise.

Pros

The beauty of the app lies in its absolute simplicity and the speed of capturing fleeting thoughts, along with the seamless, completely free synchronization across all devices without any complexity.

Cons

The app is perfect for quick notes, but it lacks advanced formatting options and the ability to organize large, complex projects that require a deep hierarchical structure.

### "Google Keep"

April 24, 2025

5.0

Google Keep offers the best experience for keeping notes and checklists. Integrates with other Google products seamless and is easy to use.

Pros

It integrates very nice with Gmail and Google Calendar. Adding contributors to notes and checklists is very important for as it offers a better workflow for the whole team. Also the labeling system work very good for me, helping in organizing everything.

Cons

Google Keep is missing the import and export option, it would be a very nice addition.

### "What a strange little product--but I use it every day"

January 1, 2022

3.0

Keep really doesn't know what it wants to be -- a to do list, a stick notes app, or a web clipper to compete with Evernote, or what? All I know is that it's pervasive across all my devices and installed on my Pixel phones, so it's super handy and the default when I need to get something out of my head, so despite all these short-comings, I still use it and will "keep" using it (haha, sorry for the pun).

Pros

Keep is dead simple. Write a note, maybe make it a list or add a picture. No learning curve, no saving, no files or folders. You can add colors or labels if you like, but what I love most is the powerful search built in that instantly brings up one of my hundreds of notes, even archived ones. I do use the colors as well with a pretty deep system of categories, but I ran out of colors for new categories a long time ago because of the limited number of choices.

Cons

Keep drives me crazy. New features are very rare. You can't even do rich text formatting! Lists are totally inflexible other than simple indentation for a pseudo subtask motif.

### "Keep on Keepin' On!"

April 7, 2026

5.0

Keep has helped me to store and organize links, reminders, photos, and lots of other information over the years.

Pros

I love that I can save various types of information in Google Keep. It's convenient because I can use it on multiple devices, and it all syncs together.

Cons

It is difficult to find something that I do not like about Google Keep. It is helpful in keeping me organized, and has features that I like. I would say it's not the flashiest or fanciest app, but it does the basics.

### "Very much handy note taking tool for my work."

April 6, 2025

It has helped me really streamline my workflow at Suho Garmindo by allowing me to log defects and ideas quickly while testing, keeping them all in one easy-to-find location.

Pros

I love how Google Keep syncs across my devices or google account instantly, meaning I can take some testing notes on the go and have access to them later.

Cons

I don’t like that the organization options are limited. Thank God for tagging and color-coding, but it can feel cluttered when I’m tracking multiple QA tasks.

Pros

Google Keep is great for jotting down quick thoughts or setting reminders. Its simple and reliable, but not ideal for more complex not-taking needs

Cons

It lacks advanced organization tools like tags or folders, which makes it harder to manage lot of notes efficiently

### "Google Keep - keep you notes in a good way"

November 30, 2024

5.0

Google Keep is a complex yet simple to use note taking app. The design is simple and intuitive offering simplicity and quick accessibility as it integrating very well with Google ecosystem.

Pros

The most neat feature for me is the labeling, it allows me to separate different notes by my criteria. Also sharable checklists are a useful features as it allows to easily complete tasks for different projects for work, or even shopping lists. The app is versatile as is available as a web app that you can access from a browser or as a smartphone app.

Cons

Sometimes an import feature would be a great time saver.

### "Google Keep is very helpful in everyday life. "

May 2, 2026

5.0

I love that Google Keep helps me stay organized with notes. I love the color coding and list feature that you can check off.

Pros

I started using Google Keep on my phone. I keep notes in it and I pin documents that I need at the top. I make lots of lists using this app as well. And, I like that it is a shared document between my phone and computer.

Cons

I am not sure of the difference between archive and trash. Also, I would like to figure out how to hide some notes but categorize them if needed later.

### "Simple and easy note-taking for meetings"

October 6, 2023

4.0

I use Google Keep in a very straightforward way: for taking notes during meetings, so I can remember things later. I use it, especially, for more casual meetings, where I am only taking the phone. I write down relevant ideas, dates, or assignments and, later, I open the app from the laptop and distribute the information creating events in my calendar, making a phone call, sending an email, or initiating a new project. The uses I give to the notes I take on Google Keep are very diverse; many times, then, Google Keep becomes the initial step for a task.

Pros

Google Keep is extremely easy to use because its functions are elementary. This is really an asset because I often only need a clean interface and some space to take notes on the go. Therefore, I like the simplicity and the ubiquity. In this sense, it is essential for me that Google Keep is a multiplatform tool, so I can see the notes taken on my phone while working on my computer and, then, redistribute into other apps/programs tasks, information, and reminders accordingly. I also enjoy labels a lot; they help me organize a space (my mind, my meetings) that is very chaotic and diverse by nature.

Cons

As I mentioned, simplicity is one of the best features of Google Keep, so I do not really miss any significant characteristic. Perhaps the app could benefit from some formatting options, such as italics, bold, and underlining, to make a more expressive use of it.

Switched from

### "One of the better note management platforms"

October 6, 2023

5.0

I have used Google Keep along with the rest of Google's suite of programs for several years now, and have always been impressed with their applications. I just happen to love Microsoft OneNote more, and tend to favor that application for note curation.

Pros

My favorite thing about Google Keep is the ease with which new users can learn to use the platform proficiently. It's a very user-friendly application.

Cons

My least favorite thing about the software is that it's not Microsoft OneNote, therefore it doesn't integrate with OneDrive. Other than that simple problem, it's an excellent app.

### "Google keep is perfect for taking notes not the best for task management"

March 30, 2022

5.0

I'm a very big Google fan and love their ecosystem that includes Google keep. I will continue to use Google keep for all my note needs and can't wait to see what else Google can come up with

Pros

Google keep is one of those pieces of software that you cannot live without if you are part of the Google ecosystem. It is integrated with all the other applications they offer and that makes everything so seamless

Cons

It's hard to really give this thing a con because it says right in the name Google notes it's created for taking notes and it does that perfectly. No matter where you take your note if you're connected to your Google account you'll be able to access that from anywhere. It's not the best when it comes to task management or project management but again that's not what the app is designed for

Reason for choosing Google Keep

Due to its seamless integration with the rest of the Google ecosystem

### "Google Keep"

March 24, 2025

5.0

Google Keep is very easy to use and it has a simple user interface. Organizing notes is very easy with the labeling system and colors. Another feature I use is the collaboration, I can share my notes with others, they can fill checklists or edit notes.

Pros

I can say that the synchronization between the devices is the best best feature that comes to my mind. I can use it on any device I have closer to me and I know that the update is everywhere, even on the devices where I have shared my notes.

Cons

Importing is not an option with Google Keep.

### "It has helped me note down everything."

November 17, 2024

5.0

Google Keep is the app that simplified my brain and improved my productivity. My notepad is the device that always comes with me to catch random thoughts when they arise, little notes for myself and my never ending list of things to do.

Pros

Google Keep is a digital notepad that works best for capturing ideas, simple to-dos, and reminders in the moment. It is simple, allows to color-code during-note text and sync everything between my devices. It is like a sticky note for every thought, always accessible.

Cons

It is great for taking quick notes, but it lacks advanced features you may find in more fully-featured note-taking apps such as rich text formatting or detailed organization options.

### "My easy to use notepad for any task."

November 12, 2024

5.0

Google Keep has cleared a lot of mind junk and increased their productivity. It's the tool I rely on to catch and capture thoughts, manage a list of things to do, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Pros

Google Keep is my place of ideas, to-dos and reminders. Creating notes, lists and voice memos are effortless in the app, but I have been enjoying the color coding and labeling options for organization. The way things sync across devices is so seamless that I am never going to lose track of my thoughts.

Cons

It is great for simple note-taking, but it may lack advanced features such as rich text formatting or advanced task management features that some will want.

### "Highly Recommend for Google Users"

October 22, 2024

5.0

I love using Google Keep. Especially since I use Google as a platform for my everyday work. It makes transferring data across platforms so easy. Especially with Google Keep. All my documents in one place with easy access is game changing for the work environment. Strongly recommend Google Keep!

Pros

So easy to use this app. The transfer of data between other Google softwares is what really makes this software worth using. Lots of great templates and tools that can be utilized to your advantage. The price is hard to beat as well. Using it with Gmail is so easy and efficient as well.

Cons

There is a little bit of a formatting limitation in some aspects, but nothing that would make it "not worth" using, so to speak. There is also no offline access, but that's not a dealbreaker.

Overall I consider Google Keep the best app of its king. Is easy to use and add collaborators, it has a nice interface and is fast. I also like it because is has the web version and the mobile app version witch make it very accessible from any device.

Pros

The most I like is that I can create labels for all my notes and check lists, than sharing with my team or even family is really easy. Adding reminders to specific tasks is a great addition to the app.

Cons

### "Google Keep "

July 30, 2022

5.0

I use Google Keep for personal and family organisation and for professional purposes. Each field has its own colour to avoid confusion. Professionally, I have notes for each course and program and even notes about individual students and their progress. I can choose to share these notes with relevant colleagues or keep them to myself. Periodically, I read through the notes, delete what is no longer relevant and choose to save some notes as Google Docs.

Pros

I love the simplicity of Google Keep and its synchronisation between all devices. Taking notes and making checklists is quick and easy. Finding previous notes takes seconds. Learning to use the functions is intuitive and similar to other Google tools. I also value the visuality of the tool. incorporating images in the notes is useful.

Cons

The To-Do list function is simplistic. I would love to see integration with another Google tool - ToDoist. I would also like to see an automatic date stamp on each note and when it was last updated. You could then choose to organise information by date.

### "Easy and simple tool but valuable"

January 17, 2023

Pros

Organized. Easy to use. All your notes can be written and combined into lists, and it can be used in blogging and business management. I also used it to write down my notes and replaced it with paper notes.. Easy and simple application that can be used without the Internet

Cons

It's really hard to give this thing a tip because the name says it all, Google indicates that it's designed for note-taking, and it does it perfectly. No matter where you take your notes, you can access them from anywhere if you connect to your Google account. It's not the best when it comes to task management or project management, but that's not what the app was designed for either

### "Essential tool for my daily tasks"

July 1, 2022

I've been using it for years and it has become my biggest store of important information. Today I have a label for almost everything. Shopping list, list with important passwords, things to do, etc.

Pros

Today I use google keep to store all my to-do lists. I create notes with checklists with all the tasks of the day or even a small list of company purchases. I can share notes with all my co-workers. It is possible to create different labels for different subjects, making google keep more organized and functional

Cons

I would love to have integration with systems that send emails or even send messages in other applications. The extensions I use in google chrome do not always deliver notifications with visual alerts in the browser.

### "I'll Be Keeping Google Keep!"

November 22, 2022

5.0

Google Keep has replaced other methods of note keeping for myself and my team. Overall, my experience with the program has been great and I have received similar feedback from other users.

Pros

Google Keep is very user friendly and easy to get familiar with using. Being able to easily integrate with other Google platforms is beneficial and there are some features such as, check lists, labels, and the ability to add collaboratiors that enhance the user experience and capabilities.

Cons

The only thing I feel would result in drastic improvement of Google Keep is if there were more features and customizations. Added color/background options, fonts, and dashboard structure options along with the ability to have both check lists and plain text within one note would be great additions.

Reason for choosing Google Keep

Google Keep has all core features needed in this type of program.
