And it's free. Cons I don't like when I put a link in a note and google keep automaticaly creates a "bar" at the bottom of the note but also keeps the link in the middle of the text. I would be nice if you could select how you want you link to be displayed, like in Confluence. I have been using the app from 4+ years, never I have faced a problem with the app. If I were to suggest a notes app to anyone, I would definitely recommend Google Keep Pros Synchronization is the most liked featured of mine. I can write notes on mobile and instantly see it on my PC, it is helpful whenever I have to send some text to my PC . Simple yet intuitive dashboard always made my work easy. I don't have to think about how to navigate the app or use some features. The UI is designed such that any person can use it. Cons I'm satisfied with all the features of the application. Pros I like the fact that Google Keep can be used effectively and efficiently to take notes, record voice memos, save images and drawings, and create interactive to-do lists. All of that can be easily shared with others in order to collaborate in real-time. Cons Some of the more advanced features found in other note-taking apps are still missing. Also, there are some limits like the 20,000 characters per note and the 50 label limit. There are few areas that can be improved but overall Google Keep is a really strong product. Pros There are many features that are great in Google Keep including multi device sync, quick add feature and the ability to add documents and files. The interface is really clean and minimal. Also, there are lot of good editing features. Cons I think multi user collaboration can be improved in Google Keep, it is still not usable and can be improved. Keep is also responds quickly at every stroke or click. It is also an honestly free applacation, compatible with almost almost all android gadgets. It is used by many and usage doesn't make one feel lonely. It has a collaboration feature where users can have common access to files and assigned tasks, a very handy feature for family or office workers at small scale. Labels or tags can be added to make work more organised. It also handles other emails better than others hosts. Keep address lows the user to have multiple accounts and swap them with ease. It's good for quick, short notes or lengthy reminders. It's useful for jotting down notes with images. It even allows you to grab the text from those images. You can use it everywhere too (browser, app, Gmail). Pros Keep is best used for making short notes. Think of it as virtual Post-its. It's completely changed how I take notes. I put quotes in there for writing ideas. I post links to courses and references. I write meeting bullet points and agendas. One of the more useful features is you can include photos in your notes. On top of that, you can grab the image text. I found this very useful for capturing text from business cards. I also use the grab text feature to capture non-English characters, copy those and plug the phrases into Google Translate. Useful for translating names and places. Lastly, it's got Post-its beat because everything is searchable. Forgot the title? Pick a key word from what you remember and use search. Cons I had some syncing issues in the past where it refused to sync with one device. It was solved when I upgraded to a different phone. But, I didn't really find out what was going on there. The archive function is great especially for something annually, you can archive and then uncheck all items and start again. What I love most is that it can be linked to my gmail account for access wherever I am in the world and that I can share my notes with others. Cons There's a character limit hence one has to be careful regarding recordings and note taking. It seems as if its mainly to be used for small note taking.
