It's an awesome software to use whether I'm chatting with a group or making conference calls to go over business plans. it definitely is amazing to have. Pros GroupMe is awesome to use to keep communication with employees. It's very simple to use and has a lot of different tools that you can use besides just chat. Cons Nothing. I love GroupMe and i use it daily whether I'm chatting with my employees or training new people. Pros I have been using GroupMe for 15 years now. It has been used in my school and now we are using for a business. Great for multi person communication. Pros It is easy to join and create groups and also add other members. You can send messages in the main group channel or even create separate chats for different people in a GroupMe to send messages pertinent to certain individuals. Cons I don't like how if you leave a group you never intended to join, it is still tied to your account and you can't remove it from your history. I was able to have hyperlinks in there to that help me. Pros Group me allows me to stay in conversation with so many different groups all at the same time. I love that I can use it for work with different departments. I can also use it for sports teams my kids are on. It just helps me stay more organized. It is very easy to set up on your phone and gives you an opportunity to stay connected with friends and loved ones! Pros I love how Group me allows you to create a group for just about anything. Cons It is the only app that I have ever accidentally sent a message to the wrong thread before. I am not sure why. Maybe the list of threads could be organized in a way that is more visual friendly? I will continue to use GroupMe for various sports teams. The ability to have communications and quick replies is vital when sharing updates. Pros What I like most about GroupMe is the simplicity of the software. The fact that communications can stay in one place is helpful. I use GroupMe exclusively for sports team communications and the features that are offered for quick replies are top notch (including the user interface). The prices cannot be beat either. The fact that you get some much integrated without a cost is truly game changing. Cons The interface can be a bit outdated. The inability to search individual chats can make finding information difficult. And it can, at times, run slow or have issues syncing. But none of these are deal breakers. Review Source Halima M. I do like how simple it is to use, and it's not all over the place and complexed. Cons I would say the design of the app could have styled it differently. It’s nice to have a seperate messaging center than personal messages so i can keep those seperate and not get bombarded by group text messages. It has the capability of allowing me to add a lot more people to the group than text and also it doesn’t matter what phone people have if it’s iPhone or android. Pros It’s a Great way to keep in touch with a team or group of people that is seperate from personal text messages Cons Originally I forgot to turn on the notifications for the app so I wasn’t getting message updates and realizing I had them. It's easy to keep deiffernt groups separate and organized. I like that it can create group texts. It can sometimes be a bit challenging however trying to add some peoples numbers. Pros I really like that i cam creat different groups. I like that this one can be set up with texts as well as the app notifications. Its very convenient and modern. Its easy to navigate and use. Pros I like that Group me is a separate app for group messages as it limits the amount of notifications in my regular inbox. I also like that there are more customizable options, even if not everyone has an iPhone. Cons I do not like how GroupMe notifies the whole group when you leave. It is the people who send too many/irrelevant messages in the group that drive people off of platforms and group messages. Other than that (which isn't GroupMe's fault), I felt it fulfilled its purpose well. Pros A nice alternative when not everyone has an iPhone. Simple to use.
