SQL Complete is very easy to use and integrates with Microsoft SQL beautifully. It has increased the team’s productivity exponentially and helped us write cleaner and easier to trade T-SQL queries. We use it on a daily basis and it has become an integral part of our development team.

Pros

Ease of use Integration with SQL Server Management Studio is outstanding. Useful features throughout that are well thought, with the end user in mind. Customization capabilities allows us to fine tune the tool features to our needs.

Cons

Number of installations restriction. Would like to be able to install in multiple devices but limit the amount of concurrent devices that can use it. This would remove the need to manually manage devices in the web UI.

Für mich ist es schwer ohne auszukommen. Die Zeitersparnis und die Unterstützung im Bereich Intelligence sind hervorragend.

Pros

Es ist schwer zu sagen was einem am besten gefällt aber die Zeitersparnis beim schreiben von TSQL ist auf jeden Fall ein sehr großer Vorteil. Es ist sehr flexibel beim Customizing

Cons

Wenn man viele und zum Teil komplexe CTE erstellt hat, geht leider die Gesamtperformance komplett in den Keller und macht ein Arbeiten fast unmöglich.

Pros

SQL Complete allows me to be efficient with my daily tasks. I regularly use features like object suggestions, mass renaming, code formatting, and query history. Also, the support team responds to any issues very quickly.

Cons

There was some recent incompatibility with a newer SSMS update. However, this was addressed pretty quickly and the support team kept us posted on the status of the resolution.

Es vereinfacht und beschleunigt den Umgang guten und effizienten SQL-Code zu schreiben. Auch die Historie im Tool und die SQL-Code Beispiele unterstützen eine besser und schnellere Arbeitsweise.

Pros

Das Tool "SQL Complete" unterstützt sehr gut beim Schreiben von "SQL-Statements". Es macht die ganze Umsetzung (SQL-Code schreiben) effizienter und schneller.

Cons

Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn alle wichtigen "SQL Complete" Befehle mit Kurztasten ausführbar wären. Zusätzlich wäre es sinnvoll noch eine AI-Hilfe als Unterstützung einzubinden, um die aktuellen Statements zu analysieren, damit optimierte SQL-Statements vorzuschlagen werden können.

Overall, it’s a solid and useful tool for everyday SQL work. It helps speed up simple tasks, but there’s still room for improvement for advanced users.

Pros

Very easy to use and saves a lot of time when writing SQL queries. The suggestions are usually accurate and helpful, especially for beginners or quick tasks.

Cons

I don’t see any drawbacks. If there were any small issues, I noticed them but they were quickly fixed and improved in later updates and releases.

My overall experience with SQL Complete has been excellent. It streamlines SQL development by reducing repetitive tasks and improving code accuracy. The advanced IntelliSense and formatting tools make writing complex queries much easier.

Pros

The standout feature for me is the advanced IntelliSense. SQL Complete provides context-aware suggestions that are more accurate and helpful than the default SQL Server tools, especially when working with complex queries or large schemas.

Cons

SQL Server Management Studio generates SQL with square brackets. The bracket removal is still missing from the SQLComplete formatter.

Pros

What I liked most about SQL Complete is how much it improves productivity when working in SSMS. The intelligent auto-completion, query formatting, and code snippets make writing SQL much faster and help keep queries clean and consistent. It integrates seamlessly into the SSMS editor and makes navigating database objects much easier, especially when working with larger schemas.

Cons

In larger databases with many objects, the autocomplete suggestion list can sometimes become quite long, which makes it a bit harder to quickly find the exact table or column you’re looking for. Initial indexing of very large databases can also take some time.

Love it and would not want to miss it. Have been postponing fully moving over to SSMS 22 until SQL complete is available :-)

Pros

The Autocomplete functionality is a lot better than SSMS built-in. I also like the very customizable SQL formatter and the code navigation tools.

Cons

It adds a bit to the SSMS start-up time, which is understandable, but still. Also, sometimes triggering an autocompletion (or not) is a bit confusing.

Our overall experience with SQL Complete has been great and our developers find it a boost to productivity and code quality.

Pros

Across my team the favorite features are the auto-complete and formatting provided. Auto-saving and color coding tabs are a big help when having to switch context quickly between project and support work. Code snippets and configurable table aliases generally improve the team's efficiency by allowing commonlu used query elements to be re-used and table aliases to follow standard usage across the team.

Cons

We've had challenges with exporting and re-importing snippets and table aliases between SSMS versions. For fast typers the auto-complete can lag keyboard input.

I wish we had discovered SQL Complete sooner. We've been using SSMS for many years and we only started using SQL Complete not long ago because I was looking for a code formatter that doesn't cost a lot. Turned out the devs loved the code completion feature and we've been using it (and renewing the license) since then.

Pros

There are so many features but we only consciously use the code completion and formatting and we use those features every single day. I was testing a new version of SSMS recently and realized so many things that we now take for granted actually aren't a part of the standard install.

Cons

Not about the product itself, but buying perpetual license vs. subscription was confusing for us. Support walked us through the purchase step but I feel it could be made simplier.
