August 5, 2022 5.0 Quillbot is a great software that I must recommend especially to students who are having a hard time on paraphrasing text that they come accross on the internet. This helps them avoid plagiarism and create their own texts while retaining the idea of the original article. Pros This software is very easy to use due to its user friendly GUI and it also has a lot of useful features like being able to choose what word you want to be changed on the text. It also helps students and other people alike avoid plagiarism. Cons Based on my experience in this software, I have not encountered any issues or cons since the features of this software are very well made to fit into each other to create this wonderful software. Pros The software sometimes picks academic words that suit my texts better.Sometimes when I struggle with building a sentence, I write whatever I am trying to deliver and Quillbot paraphrases my sentence by fixing the order of the words in sentence and using better words. In short, I simply rely on Auillbot with all my ideas and sentences. Cons Sometimes I wish that Quillbot could create longer sentences when I use short sentences even if they have little information. For example, when trying to deliver “I like working in lab”, I expect too much, such as “Working in lab is a joyful experience that I would like to be doing all my life” (just an example), but Quillbot paraphrases to “I enjoy working in lab”. I would recommend using more complicated sentencing for short texts if possible. Pros Quillbot is an excellent grammar, paraphrasing, citation and summeriser tool that can generate good, presentable writing in seconds. A user can simply copy or type text and click the process button, and the outcome will amaze the user as this tool will analyse your content and provide alternative options. I love this tool as I am now able to write and present professional and personal documents with ease. This tool aids in grammar checks and how my paraphrases are worded. I use the free version of this powerful tool. Cons I am yet to have any complaints about Quillbot, as all free trials it would be nice to upgrade to the full version for the entire experience. Pros What I like the most about Quillbot is the ability to switch the MODES into a preferred option like standard mode or Formal, depending on how you want your paraphrased content to look. If you want it to look very simple and easy to read and understand by anyone, simple mode is there to choose. However, my preferred mode is EXPAND. It adds more details, depth and increase the sentence length in a very simple, unique and meaningful manner. I love it so much. Quillbot helps by giving me ideas on how I can improve what I wrote by giving me other ways of stating one thought. I don't just simply copy and paste from Quillbot of course, but it gives that "Oh, that's actually good! Let me use that here." option.
