In our experience, they do not seem to evaluate whether a vendor actually meets the insurance or compliance requirements in substance — only whether the COI matches their template word-for-word. We encountered repeated rejections for issues that had no impact on actual compliance, including: Requiring certificate holder language tied to states where we do not even operate, despite their own examples indicating it only applied to vendors in those states. Rejecting policies because our limits were higher than the required minimums, simply because the numbers did not exactly match the sample COI format. Refusing to make reasonable corrections or apply common sense even when property managers themselves confirmed we met the requirements. The most frustrating part is the inability to escalate or resolve obvious errors. Every response defaults to “the client requires it,” even when the client representatives disagree with NetVendor’s interpretation. It creates unnecessary delays, wasted administrative time, and added costs for vendors trying in good faith to comply. For a paid service that is supposed to streamline vendor compliance, the process instead feels overly bureaucratic, inflexible, and disconnected from real-world operations. Vendors are left paying for the privilege of fighting through avoidable administrative headaches. Pros There is not a single thing I like about NetVendor. It has done nothing for us but create extra work. Cons Everything. The fact that we have to pay for this and spend HOURS of unproductive time on hold waiting to speak to their support staff is infuriating. It is great for vendor management and reporting as well as paying. When companies come want to work with us it is easy to implement them into our database. I love the fact that we take no risks and are contacted via risk management for any insurance or billing concerns. Cons There is not anything that I do not enjoy about Net Vendor. It's very simple and uniform. It makes things so much easier for us. Pros The process of being able to use locators and have everyone under one system is a great for time management. Cons There is nothing I dislike as of yet. I am new to NetVendor but will continue to use it and determine if there are any suggestions for improvements. Pros I do not like anything about Net Vendor. It is the most unprofessional, irresponsible and incompetent company that I ever has to deal with. They never answer the call, it takes weeks they email you back. We are a vendor, and it takes almost 3 month to get in compliance, because Net Vendor employees are so incompetents. Cons I do not like anything about this company. Keep away from them, or you are going to have a big headache.
