" August 12, 2026 4.0 Overall I find Trucaller helpful to screen my many phone calls making sure I only get the important ones. The spam messages and junk calls are routed to a separate folder for oversight reference. Pros I find a lot of value using Trucaller, even the free tier is helpful to identify callers and for reverse phone number lookups. I like that it does not take much space to show the information when you are receiving a call, Pros The most basic feature of Truecaller is to identify and highlight spas among the unknown callers and it does that very effectively. Cons I would have really liked if Truecaller would sync with my call history and automatically highlight the important details of the unknown callers. One of the best features is to send a message with a context of the call before actually calling. This helps the receiver to know the reason for the call. Recently, they have added the bubbles at top right corner to show multiple missed calls in the same popup window which is a good UI design. Cons The TrueCaller app seems to be forcing the users to migrate their inbox (SMS) to TrueCaller inbox. Because every time the app is opened it asks if I want to switch to their inbox. Cons If Truecaller had synced with my call history, I could have set it to automatically highlight the crucial information about unfamiliar callers. September 8, 2022 5.0 Pros Truecaller has many great features and uses, but what I love most about it is that it reveals the real person owning the sim card before you pick up a call or save that phone number into your phone book. Sometimes it is embarrassing that after being with someone for some time, you ask them their name to save it in your phone book. With Truecaller, the name of the contact will be accurately displayed when you finish typing their number. You just accept it and it will be saved. This is a great feature that saves time and prevents embarrassment. Cons The app in itself has no reportable bugs. I am using it without issues.
