I signed up for this service because I live in abroad but usually like to keep a US address for ordering things and forwarding them to myself and also for putting as a return address on things. First they charged me a $20 fee onto of the monthly mail box charge. This was without my consent and they told me this was to keep in my account in case I need to scan mail. Which would be fine, but then they also charged me when I scanned anything. I tried to test the mailbox by getting a leather bag delivered to my mailbox. After a month, I looked up where my package was and the vendor had it as being delivered to my mailbox address. I was never notified. When I went to my account to log-into my mailbox it was not there. I tried emailing and calling the contact numbers on the website and after two days I finally got ahold of someone. She told me the package was sitting in the mail center but had not been logged in by iPostal1 because it was delivered on a Saturday and iPostal1 doesn’t work on Saturdays. The package was then finally logged into the system. I requested online that the package be forwarded to my address abroad. About 2 weeks later, I asked the mailbox service where my package was as they never sent me any sort of transit information or tracking number. They replied with a tracking number and said it was in transit. Then I waited another two weeks and I went online to my iPostal account to see where it could be and it had been returned because of lack of customs forms. They never notified me it had been returned. I reached out to the company asked why they didn’t tell me the package had been returned and why they didn’t fill out the customs forms. Their response was, “Hello, no we don't fill out no forms, whatever is sent to us to send the package is what is printed out. “ So, they charged me over $100 to forward the Package knowing that they do not fill out customs forms so it would be returned anyways. (Whenever you send something to another country you need to fill out customs forms, if I had known they don’t do that I would never have even gotten this service.) Then when I went onto my account today to see if I could possibly forward the package to my friend’s address in the United States, the option was not available. Because the package had been there for 30 days they discarded it. This has been the worst service I’ve ever used in my life. I’ve had to track down a missing package, which they charged me to forward even though they knew it couldn’t be forwarded and then they threw it away. This month alone I paid this company $146.75 ($104.51 to have the package mailed to me in Mexico City, $9.99 membership fee, $2.25 fee to scan a letter, $10 fee to shred a letter, $20 to keep in my account for no reason.) This company has only caused me headaches and not helped in any way. I will be canceling this service and posting this review in as many places as I can. This company is a total scam.

Great! Big Fan! You can’t get away from the ease & convenience.

Pros

You can’t get away from the ease and convenience of iPostsl1! Unfortunately, USPS doesn’t have the same level of service and you really need to know what’s in your mailbox immediately and iPostal1 delivers. The customer service at my location was amazing and very competent. If you know you’re not going to make it to the post office every day and you need to know what’s going on, I think this is the best option.

Cons

EVERYTHING costs! They kind of nickel and dime you. Even to throw something out they charge- I’m saying ABOVE your monthly.

Pros

I find their turnaround with the mail items to be fairly quick, the customer service quite responsive when there are hiccups, and overall I am satisfied with the service. I have been with the service for several years now and I have worked out a good system with them.

Cons

There are some cheaper alternatives out there that have better scan/shred packages. TBH navigating the offers iPostal has can be a little tricky to get the best value for your money, and if you look at annual costs, it comes out pricier than the competitors though at first glace it might appear cheaper.

Virtual mail can be tricky. If you are in an area with a desirable address, you will be inundated with clients. This system takes out of the look of account and document set-up. Once you approve a new customer, the rest can be done on autopilot. This system allows you to search for a user, and scan the envelope. Then you wait to hear from them if they want the item scanned for immediate access, or forwarded. There is no upfront costs from the mail center to buy postage or shipping labels for customers. You actually get paid to use their account! This system keeps track of everything you do for a client. All you do it write the item number on the envelope, and await further instructions.

Pros

This is by far my favorite of all the virtual office vendors we use. What I like best is that if you do exactly what the prompts tell you, it keeps track of everything you do so you don't have to keep emailing documents to your users. Once the client signs up, all you do is scan in the mail. It's foolproof.

Cons

I think the thing I like least is it's not the most intuitive, though if you use it enough you will soon be using it with your eyes closed, so to speak. The UI/UX can be a little clunky and dated looking, but it works, and we find it's the best for clients who don't always pay on time - it will keep the mail in the system so you don't have to hang onto it and re-scan when they finally do enter valid payment info.

My overall experience was a fail. When you sign up it is not really easy to understand that shredding and mail forwarding to you are not included in the price. So it was way overpriced.

Pros

I liked that I got emails with photos of all mail that came into my p.o. box for me. This is a great solution for ecommerce stores to have a real physical address. I used it for when I was in-between business address. Love that your mail can be shipped to you so you do not have to pick it up if you do not have time.

Cons

Everything and I mean everything costed money. First you pay the monthly charge which is normal. Next if you want them to destroy your junk mail that comes in so it doesn't pile up it costs you for each piece of mail they shred. You also pay a hefty price for them to ship you your mail. the location where I picked up my mail seemed unprofessional but not sure that has to much to do with the product itself.
