It never experienced a downfall in many projects, since they were deployed. Pros The simplicity on which you can deploy your web app, just connecting your repository (Gitbucket, Github or a simple bucket) and let Amplify do the build for you. After it finish, an URL will be available which can be later customized or routed to your domain. Cons It does exactly what AWS offers at a very low price, with many other services included. Configuring DNS settings for your Amplify app is simple and the interface is intuitive. Cons When navigating to the Amplify window in the AWS console, I dislike not being able to see which backend AWS services are interacting with my front-end. I realise that if you do all of the setup using the Amplify CLI, then you can see these backend services. However, this isn't scalable for large businesses that need to deploy assets in a repeatable way (using CFN templates or the CDK).
