### "Wise was there for me when Revolut couldn't!"

I wanted to use Revolut in Spain but the registration process was super clunky and I really needed to pay a friend some money. Wise came through and solved this issue. Such a life saver!

Pros

How easy their credit card payments were to adapt in comparison to Revolut and its payment processing that was easier to do as a traveller for my money transfers between friends. I also want to highlight the secure payments because I have been receiving freelance job pays in a secure and fast way.

Cons

Certain rates are unclear and I may not be too sure if I got the cheapest rate which caused me security issues but it's an ideal option and a great software that helps my value for money when I need to transfer money. Also Panama is no longer allowed to receive payments from my freelancer jobs so this was a major blow to my remote work operations

I've been using it as my main payment platform outside my home country. It is connected to my own expenses management platform, which makes it really easy to track expenses.

Pros

It's easy to use, has good fees for currency exchange and it is a well known platform, which means that a lot of colleagues also use it. Also the API makes it easy to connect to other services.

Cons

Sometimes the UI bothers me with unecessary stuff that I'll never use. It would be better if it was a little cleaner.

### "NEVER use Wise for Cash Transfers."

Horrible and regrettable. My email trail is an indictment upon the way they run their business. Promises of rectifying THEIR mistakes we brushed away by just unilaterally cancelling my Transfer without any notice (to cover their tracks).

Pros

The website looked OK and reviews seemed OK and when I went to the Website (for the 1st time) the Rate was OK BUT ..........

Cons

A simple cash transfer request turned into 34 swapped emails all of which are clear evidence as to Wise being inept, unprofessional and discourteous. One of the worst experiences I can recall with re-request after re-request for data already provided, and then THEY made errors thinking my name was my Banks Name and then THEY cancelled my transaction (probably out of shame given the disgusting disservice they gave me). Never use Wise.

Amazing !! I had previous bad experience with a rival company and wise has been amazing: the other company was not good with security features but wise has been so easy to use and fast to set up

Pros

I love this app ! I transfer my money here immediately after I'm paid and I know my money is secure and stays at same amount. I first downloaded it when I visited London and I wanted to convert my money into pounds. I was able to convert some of my wise balance into pounds which was better than paying in euro so I knew the exact amount. It kept record of my transactions and helped me see what I spent

Cons

I wished I could have lodged money directly onto the wise account: maybe that's possible if I got the physical card but for now I just have the digital one .

It was standard revolut not business revolut. But I had so much confusion setting up my account that I never used it properly. Wise was much easier to set up

Overall, I am a person who recommends wise to every single person I know. I am happy, loyal client.

Pros

I've been using wise (ex transferwise) for 8 years now, and I have absolute trust in this company. I love how simple and transparent everything is. With them, nothing is complicated or sketchy and I just love that.

Cons

The fact that you cant do much with money besides spend it or send it. I cant believe they dont offer loans or credit, because the problem is that since I've handled my money with them all of these years, I didn't build credit score with other banks. If they would allow you to build credit score with them, offer some type of credit card option or give out small loans, they would be the best.

the bank closed my account without warning when I was on a trip with my child and I found myself in a terrible situation right on New Year's Eve! we risked being left outside at night in the cold!

It was the most difficult platform to work with. Had to keep repeating the steps the first few transfers and then asking that I pay directly from the bank as a bill payment option. This worked the first time after which they started asking for more banking information and wanting to log into the bank through their portal which I found uncomfortable. Last transfer went into a loop with Wise stating they have refunded the funds back to me which I did not get. After all the hassle for over two weeks, I logged in to see what's with the funds and they have a notice there saying they have refunded the funds yet again! This issue is still going on with no idea where the funds are, hopefully not another few weeks before I see them in my bank.

Pros

Nothing really. It was a very difficult means of transfer.

Cons

Extremely difficult platform, would not recommend.

The intuitive interface makes international money transfers incredibly simple. It's easy to understand fees upfront, and the real exchange rate shown is a huge plus. The mobile app is user-friendly, and notifications keep you informed every step of the way.

Cons

Some smaller currencies or countries aren’t fully supported, which can be limiting in rare cases. Also, first-time verification may take a bit longer than expected, depending on your location.

It was very easy to create an account and start transferring money to it, it has an easy to understand interface which makes it very simple to navigate to any of its sections, I can use it on mobile devices as on computer, allows you to manage your money securely with measures such as two-factor authentication, allows you to work with suppliers from different parts of the world.

Pros

I think it is a good option to transfer money internationally, it works with a wide variety of currencies and handles very low commissions and a favorable conversion rate, transferring money from one country to another quite simple and practical, as if that were not enough, the transfers are quite fast, when transferring the money received from your Wise account to your bank account, you receive the money very quickly without complications, that way receiving international payments becomes easy, fast and secure.

Cons

There are services that are not yet available in all regions, such as international debit cards which would be a great help to make payments with your Wise balance, and do not have a support for electronic payments that are on other platforms, so it is only focused on international transfers but does not cover international payment to businesses as such.

No, if we talk about my overall experience with the wise bank account is, then it was appreciable. And I'm fully satisfied with the wise. I have enjoyed the a lot the multi currency feature if wise. I am using local currency format and USD currency in wise. I use to receives the Internation payment in USD format. There is also the option of several bank account balances e.g USD, GBP, and my local currency PKR. I can also receive money using GBP format as well as USD. The Thing that I have liked too much in wise is transfer to our local bank account. And the amount will be transferred to your bank account within 30 minutes. I have made a lot of transactions for transferring my money from a wise USD balance to my local bank account and I'm very satisfied with this. Mobile access to a wise account is also a very smart and cool process. I have installed the wise application on my android. And I am glad to share that the application of wise is Fingerprint supported, Mean that there is no need of typing our password again and again. I can easily access my account through android just by using a fingerprint scan. Managing payment through the mobile application is the same as we do through the web. I have not faced any type of lag problem or any type of security issue while using the android application of wise.

Cons

Well, there is too much to experience in wise, But I have some suggestion for the wise team to introduce some improvements. First of all, the Multi-currency option of wise is very appreciable, But there is a charge of 20$ for getting USD bank account details. Although the charge will be credited to our wise bank account, but we have to pay for once. I have a lot of friends that are unable t use wisely just because they are not having a visa or MasterCard for making a transaction too wise. And they are not eligible to get bank account details without depositing 20$. That's why I had liked to discuss this issue with the wise team , and my honest suggestion is to remove this charge . Although you can ask for a legal documents for human verification or may ask for local bank account details but I would like that this charge should be removed completely and getting any bank account details inside-wise should be completely free of cost. So that any student can use the Wise account for freelancing purposes and to receive payment from clients.

Pros

I like the fact that it feels safe to use, the cost is extremely low and there is instant reporting when the transaction is complete or when there is a problem

Cons

Hard to say because the irritating thing is when a transaction doesn't go through because the Payee's details don't match exactly - as this is also the most important safety feature so vital. Overall a benefit.

This bank helped me at least 2 times to handle some big problems. First of all I could open accounts with different currencies, all linked to the same card, and I handled a problem with a payment which I could not manage to receive for months with other banks! Now Wise has became the stable solution for these kind of payments. Then I had a problem with some money stolen from my account because I mistake I did. Despite all, with a huge help from the customer service, I finally managed to recover that money, which seemed to be impossible to get back. I'm really happy about my experience in Wise and I'd advice it to anyone!

Pros

It's user friendly and if I have any problems I can count on an excellent customer service

High commissions when withdraw money at the ATM

I've been using Wise for about 6 years and I've never had any problems, on the contrary. As a user, I never had problems, whenever I needed help, I was answered in a short time, the quality of customer service is also good. As a developer, when I needed to write an API documentation for a SaaS, I used the Wise API documentation as a model, which is impeccable.

Pros

Very easy to understand interface. Good integration with banks around the world. Fast transactions. Clear tariffs and fees for users. Very cheap way to remit amounts abroad and undoubtedly the best alternative to pay for expenses while traveling abroad. The Developer API is also the API template for any SaaS company.

Cons

There are no negative points in the services provided by the company. It just needs to remain competitive because cryptocurrency services threaten to become a better alternative for businesses and individuals.

I'm very pleased I discovered Wise. I loose less money in fees now and transfers are much faster than with my local bank.

Pros

I'm in France but my customers are mostly in the UK and US. Wise is the best bank I have found to get paid quicky and with the best conversion rates. It is incredibly fast and I can transfer money to my French bank account instantly. Everything can be done from the app which is great! It is also very convenient to travel abroad.

Cons

I have had no problems so far when using it.

Generally, you will read all pros and cons in other reviews. For me, the most important was an easy way to get a US saving account number for US payments, or transfer money from PayPal. After that, you can exchange money and use wise debit card in every country

Pros

I mainly use this Wise for transferring money overseas from UK to Singapore. When I first came here 2 years ago, I couldn't find any easier and cheaper ways to transfer money overseas especially to Asian countries. I need to go to the bank just to transfer money which I couldn't do all the time as I'm a very busy person. I don't have much time for it. I looked up all possible ways to do it online.. most have high transferring fees . Then luckily, I read about Wise transfer from social media and I thought just give it a go...Boom! I can't believe the service is real bargain..they charge me only £4ish for the amount £500-1000. It's hassle free and secure. When you use with debit or credit cards, you'll get the money literally just within a few seconds. I've been using it for 2 years now and so far it didn't let me down.

Cons

I'm afraid I don't have any single thing that I don't like much about it! I'll definitely continue using this software and recommend to others as well.

I have been using this application for more than five years. I have never had a single issue with the money transfer. It is very fast and reliable.

Pros

It takes only a few days for them to finalize your transfer. They inform you about every step of your transfer. They hold the currency exchange rates fixed during your transfer.

Cons

For values over certain limit, it becomes more costly than regular banking wire transfer.
