I have to travel a lot, and I find their rates to be the best with no questions. Pros It does offer great exchange rates. You can literally a bank account in different countries like EEUU, UK, Belgium, etc. The money transferring system is super easy to use Cons As the time pass, it has become more difficult to open a Wise Account. It does not allow Venezuelan customers to manage their cards, nor their accounts while in Venezuela, and it is a terrible deal, since you might be eventually parked at some places, and you won't be able to use your funds. The customer support is not as good as it should be. I found myself looking for Wise customer services in different countries once a particular time zone is closed. There are no physical or virtual cards for businesses in the United States, then it is super limited the money management. Pros Ease of sending funds if you are not asked for verification, if you are then 9 days plus. Cons Customer support is non-existant. I have sent funds to a client 9 days ago and the funds have been withdrawn from my account but not reached the recipient. In my business, regular payments to clients are critical and after launching many support tickets I keep getting the following reply: "I can see we are still waiting for our team to verify your documents. I will reach our to them to get an update." Despite stating on the transfer voucher that it may take 1-2 days to verify the information they have asked for it has now been 9 days and I am still sending e mails to Wise and raising support tickets. Latest message is: "We’re sorry for the delay in your verification. We’re experiencing a large volume of businesses onboarding now, so this is taking a little longer than expected. Our verification team is working hard to review all businesses as quickly as possible. Businesses are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. It can take anywhere from 5-7 working days." First of all I could open accounts with different currencies, all linked to the same card, and I handled a problem with a payment which I could not manage to receive for months with other banks! Now Wise has became the stable solution for these kind of payments. Then I had a problem with some money stolen from my account because I mistake I did. Despite all, with a huge help from the customer service, I finally managed to recover that money, which seemed to be impossible to get back. I'm really happy about my experience in Wise and I'd advice it to anyone! The hassle I had with them to re-activate my account and get my money back was so big that I can not think of anything positive anymore. Cons Without valid reasons Wise closed our business and personal accounts. The result was that I could not access our accounts anymore and it took me more than 6 months and lots of emails to get the money from my balances back. Wise for Business is superb!! Pros Not 1, but several!! Its a fluid and well integrated system. Sending and Receiving money is very quick. The app is secure, the system sends 2FA, their card never fails, the virtual cards are a great feature! Jars is such a good idea and now we have another gimmick! "Invest" Cons Its asks to load money before we're able to see accounts. So this is an extra step which wasn't there before. Wise allows me to set up my clients and my contractors, invoice my clients, pay my contractors, and keep a running record of all transactions. Pros Wise is a very user-friendly platform. It is simple to set up and use, and even their trial version/free version allows companies to customize their invoices. Cons Customer service can be limited. Their hours are not 24/7 and they don't jump on live calls with you. They only converse via a live chat, and most of their support is just redirecting you to content to read. Business owners don't have time to read an article whenever they have an issue. They need an expert to walk them through their issue and solve it. Reason for choosing Wise Way better product due to the ease of use. October 20, 2021 5.0 Easy UI/UX, first payment I was a bit skeptical so i only transferred $20. Once it went through in a week I transferred more. Now it is my go-to more than Paypal for personal transfers. Pros It is simple to use. Once I have transferred once, it becomes just few clicks to transfer money between bank accounts internationally. What I really like though is it has the best rate. Even better than Paypal. No more carrying cash or cheque aboard. You can transfer money via deposit, bill payment, e-interact and you just pick whichever one you feel the safest and best fit your banking needs. Cons Nothing really. Best rate, lowest fees, fast (usually less than 5 business days), it is great for personal transactions. I guess the only downside is people doesn't know WISE as much as PayPal yet, so I'm to learn if WISE has a business side of things to secure payment from clients internationally. As a user, I never had problems, whenever I needed help, I was answered in a short time, the quality of customer service is also good. As a developer, when I needed to write an API documentation for a SaaS, I used the Wise API documentation as a model, which is impeccable. Pros Very easy to understand interface. Good integration with banks around the world. Fast transactions. Clear tariffs and fees for users. Very cheap way to remit amounts abroad and undoubtedly the best alternative to pay for expenses while traveling abroad. The Developer API is also the API template for any SaaS company. Cons There are no negative points in the services provided by the company. September 22, 2022 5.0 I'm very pleased I discovered Wise. I loose less money in fees now and transfers are much faster than with my local bank. Pros I'm in France but my customers are mostly in the UK and US. Wise is the best bank I have found to get paid quicky and with the best conversion rates. It is incredibly fast and I can transfer money to my French bank account instantly. Everything can be done from the app which is great! It is also very convenient to travel abroad. Pros I love that it is quick, and I can connect my accountant to it. And she just sees everything she needs to see, really cut down on admin time. I also love that I can search all currencies - rev.lut only allows searcing one at a time. I enjoy their virtual cards, for these ecommerce heavy times. And the transfer times are unbeatable, from europe to south east asia in mintues. just wow. Cons Funny thing: i load the site, and it doesn't answer for 15 minutes. When I first came here 2 years ago, I couldn't find any easier and cheaper ways to transfer money overseas especially to Asian countries. I need to go to the bank just to transfer money which I couldn't do all the time as I'm a very busy person. I don't have much time for it. I looked up all possible ways to do it online.. most have high transferring fees . Then luckily, I read about Wise transfer from social media and I thought just give it a go...Boom! I can't believe the service is real bargain..they charge me only £4ish for the amount £500-1000. It's hassle free and secure. When you use with debit or credit cards, you'll get the money literally just within a few seconds. I've been using it for 2 years now and so far it didn't let me down.
