Overall: FutureLearn has been very helpful for me to learn new courses and subjects at my own pace. It is easy to use and signing up for courses takes no time either. It has helped me enhance my knowledge and skills. It is a great platform and allows healthy discussion for a better understanding of the subject. I highly recommend it for e-learning purposes.
Pros: Future Learn has helped me learn new and interesting courses at my own pace. It has a wide collection of courses to choose from. The best thing about FutureLearn is the fact that users can learn and access a lot of courses as per their liking. It is easy to use even for the newbies.
Cons: I haven't come across anything that makes me dislike FutureLearn. I just hope they keep adding new and informative courses in the near future.
"Really good for self development, I can only recommend"
Pros: I love using FutureLearn. I love the variety of the trainings. You can learn whatever you want, because there is a training for everything, you can go back and revisit the modules or expand your knowledge with a new one or on a higher level. It is very easy to navigate and go through the lessons, all the videos are nicely done and easy to follow. The length of the courses vary and you can get a certificate at the end. They put up newer and newer courses frequently, if you like learning this is a really good place to do so and expand your knowledge.
Cons: There is nothing I do not like in this software.
"My Review of FutureLearn"
Overall: My overall experience with FutureLearn is not good and it doesn't provide a good learning experience.
Pros: I like that FutureLearn has specialized content presented by university professors. The interface of FutureLearn is simple. Also, most of the courses are free which is good for anyone to access.
Cons: FutureLearn relies on teaching by articles, not videos so there is no visual content for people who like to learn by visuals. Also, the certificate of FutureLearn is not accredited as there is no stamp or signature on it. FutureLearn lacks the variety of content as it only focuses on technical knowledge.
"Digital learning Platform"
Pros: The platform is good for learning online with a good user experience. The platform has a clean and simplistic user interface. Learning is pretty easy and manageable.
Cons: The subscription price is pretty much high. You cannot always audit the course without a subscription. The enrollment dates are limited. Lacks mobile application. You lose access to all content after 4 weeks which is a very short period of time. The range of courses on the platform is also limited. The UI is not friendly to the eyes. It is too white. No notes taking capability
