They tried to make me believe it was the job of iPage, the acquired company, to inform me of Network Solutions' pricing. Nice try... Pros Polite chat operators, though they were not encouraging when it came to remedying my gripes with the company. Cons Network Solutions (NS) just acquired iPower/iPage, the email host at which I’ve been a customer since 2002. They executed an auto-renew for two years, of my domain registration and hosting for generalinformatics.com, at a rate shockingly higher than I’d ever paid before. I’ve since been on two live chats with them, during which they said they understand my concern but they’re not going to do anything to ease the situation. Network Solutions’ additional offenses: • They did not inform me of the new price, prior to executing the auto-renew. • They did not indicate any intention to remedy the items I complained about. Nor did they explain the reasons those problems exist. • They sent me an email from a “do not reply” address, indicating they are not interested in what customers have to say. • They responded with glib but semantically empty and insulting sentences like “our current pricing reflects the updated rates.” Switched from [iPage](https://www.capterra.com/p/230355/iPage/) I didn't. Pros I initially liked the plug-in style building and creative abilities it allows you to design your website. Cons Every time I seemed to make progress, the next step in the process required me to add more to my package, so something that started off affordable, became 100s of dollars a month instead, very misleading and not user-friendly.
