The platform is frustrating to navigate, lacks transparency in tracking submissions, and seems to contribute to inefficiencies in the editorial process. Compared to other manuscript submission systems, ScholarOne feels outdated, poorly designed, and unnecessarily complicated. I would strongly recommend journals to switch to better, more user-friendly platforms. Avoid if possible! Pros Unfortunately, there isn’t much to praise. The only positive aspect is that it serves as a basic submission portal, but even that functionality is poorly executed compared to other platforms.
