As easy as that. Pros Very easy to use, you can have a monitor set up in a few clicks, or import multiple. Reliable - never had a false positive. Cons Nothing I don't like here. They keep adding features yet maintain the simple, ease-of-use for powerful features. Pros We love the ability to quickly check multiple systems before key events we run to ensure they are running. We love that the interface is simple and easy to understand at a glance. The push notifications on the mobile apps are a great way to cut through the noise and busyness of email alerts. Their plans and pricing are all very reasonable with a great freemium option too. Cons We wish we could group alerts together or re-order them under folders or headings. I also wish you could log into more than one account at the same time in the mobile app. I have a primary day job where we use it as a organization, but I also use it for my personal side hustle, and I lose the ability to use the mobile app for both simultaneously. UptimeRobot not only gives us key alerts for when our services are down, but also provides additional data such as response times so that we can spot when something might be underperforming for our users. Their support team has been incredibly helpful and responsive whenever we've run into issues. Cons We've never had any issues with their service, though very infrequently we see noise in the alerts that appear to be networking issues on UptimeRobot's side rather than our services. Monitors are frequently not working, reporting state 30-40 minutes late, or not at all. I have 2 accounts and 1 account may report correctly while the second doesn't - it's just unusable. Support say: “this is normal” - or "our IP was blocked" (it wasn't and why did the other monitor work then?). Right now, I have a monitor that should be up, but isn’t. Their solution? - Reset the stats and lose 3 years of history because it is "stucked in cache". Disgraceful. No solution or refund from their team. The new dashboard along with the mobile app are great, and provide quick access to check monitors and become aware of issues. There are a variety of different monitor types that can be configured and it just works well overall! Pros With the launch of the revised dashboard in 2024, it's been easier to manage monitors and see an overview of the status of all monitors. The reliability of the service has been incredible, compared to other monitoring providers I've tried. Even the free plan feature set is quite generous and the updated interface is great too! Cons It would be great to be able to group services on a status page with the group status based off individual service statuses. Pros The best thing I like about uptimerobot is that we can track or monitor different things in different websites with ease. I sometimes uses this platform to track products which are out of stock in e-commerce website so that when they are in stock I can buy them easily.
