I also make a​ monthly "right of the month" flyer. I am looking forward to finding out what other creations I can make. Pros The software is extremely easy to use for editing together our company newsletter. Software auto saves projects and allows you to go back in time to an​ earlier version of your project for comparison. Easy can access the software from ANY computer, so whether I am at my work desk or my home desk all documents are available for view and processing. Cons Picture editing can get a little tricky. Pros Lucidpress is very user-friendly! It is intuitive, and is easy to pick up for someone with limited experience in using page layout/publishing programs beyond MS PowerPoint. The free version is adequate for my needs, and I really like the various downloading options. Cons The free-version can be very limited! Even for "basic" functions like saving a font or doing more advanced formatting. I am able to do what I need to with just the free version (making pamphlets and calendar handouts for my office), but I would recommend purchasing a version for more advanced work. For a novice, I feel like I was able to quickly produce a newsletter, and as I use it, I get better and better. Pros It is easy to learn to use! I can be creative without difficulty. Self-taught. I like that I can send the document for printing to Lucidpress. The turnaround time is awesome and the pricing is competitive. Cons There's nothing to dislike about the software. It does the job! I also like how I can download it in different file types depending on what it's going to be used for. Cons You need to zoom in a lot to see/edit text in newsletters, and adding photos without a box is tricky: sometimes the photos become the background instead of a small image when I drag it to the wrong place. Pros The collaborative nature of the system is crucial to our success. We maintain a nationwide team in marketing and development. Having a robust design system was critical to success. Lucidpress gives us the ability to create and share new marketing materials, documents, and ideas without shipping around files or worrying about losing data. Pros LucidPress is so intuitive to use. I used to use Microsoft Publisher and Lucid Press is much easier. There are many different templates to choose from, and it's also very easy to export as a PDF, or share directly to a group of recipients right from Lucid Press. Pros I like that as someone with zero knowledge of marketing or graphic design I was able to create a cohesive and beautiful catalog of our memorial glass product. It would also be easy to use for someone with limited design skills and training you can create professional-looking marketing pieces without breaking your budget. Cons I work for a nonprofit with a limited budget. I am paying for the subscription out of my own pocket because it makes my life easier, but I wish there was a nonprofit discount.
