The experience is very positive overall. Although a certain degree of learning and familiarisation with the platform is required, the level of customisation is also wider once the processes are set.

Pros

RunMyProcess has seen a marked improvement in productivity since the introduction of DigitalStudio IDE. The system incorporates a web interface and process (workflow) integration. A wide range of connectors and API third-party connections are available. It is also crucial that the collections are MongoDB integrated. In addition, the new DSEC connectors facilitate SAP and other SQL database integrations. Note that email communications and notifications are sent on a process level. The platform provides a suite of reporting features and an integrated user and organisation portal for users' access rights management.

Cons

The documentation for the Digital Studio initiation was integrated with the legacy portal, which made it difficult to locate the relevant examples and correct formulations for functions and other automation settings. However, in the recent months, particularly with the emergence of JavaScript, JS-ES6 and the new Python RunMyScript engines, the process definition has become much more expansive, and there are new libraries of functions and methods compatible with RMP integration. I am excited about the future implementation of AI features for debugging and documentation searches, and AI inclusion inside the processes.

My overall experience with RunMyProcess has been very positive. It's a robust and flexible platform that enables rapid development of business process automations across systems. I started using it as a customer and then a partner more than a decade ago. I introduced it to many companies resolving some process-related needs, from small to very large.

Pros

Super fast and easy to deploy. Very reliableand scalable over the years. Can't remember of any serious incident in more than 12 years.

Cons

The pace of their innovation could have been faster in the latest years, I'm curious to see how they will tackle the AI wave.

Pros

Easy process flow design. Easy web interface design. Easy intergation with different SW.

Cons

All part of application (web interfaces, process etc.) have ID. Is not possible to search according ID. Web interface DS editor design ... is to much stretched and uncluttered. Process Measures aren't versioned.

We used RunMyProcess to automate business processes for product planning, document review and document approval in combination with Google Drive, goods-return management, sales provisioning and many more. These digitalized and highly integrated processes with some human interaction allow for costs savings, high quality and execution transparency. For me RunMyProcess turned out to be like a Swiss knife. The effort to build new Apps decreases rapidly with every new project. And you have to subscribe just one service.

Pros

It is purely PaaS and you can develop, test and operate medium to complex workflow Apps just using your Browser (HTML5). In my projects all kind of Google APIs and on premise APIs played a major role. We managed them all. Pricing is very attractive.

Cons

I had to learn Apache Freemarker, which is the built-in language for data transformation. Understanding this standardized language is necessary to get more productive. In general a broader community around development of RunMyProcess Apps would be very helpful.
