Pros I prefer an HDR product that is closer to Fusion giving a very realistic output. I love the batch features and ability to make my own special formula to meet our style of shooting. Compositing 360 panos is a bonus that is hard to find in other softwares. Cons File selection is still a bit clunky after going through several upgrades. It works but just feels very archaic. Reasons for choosing Photomatix Pro Strong batch features and realistic results. I have used HDR creation software from other companies, but they often produce results that are too artificial, and their presets are often unusable as is. In this respect, I feel that Photomatix has an excellent balance in this area. Pros This software can produce the best processing results of any HDR processing software. Cons Prone to crashes, can take a long time to process. Banding may occur in photos of night scenes.
