The reports are important to know who is compliant and who is not. Pros I use MYCOI on a daily basis. I use it to set up a new vendor as well as using it for tracking purposes. Cons If I had to list a reason it would be sometimes it takes longer for a COI to be reviewed once a revision has been uploaded. With the advantage that are online, always accessible and no paper backup is needed.Once you learned how to navigate into the portal and how to use the report tab you will have a world opening to you. In just one place you can access all the vendor information, policy expiration date, non-compliant policy line and see the last date when a document was updated.Our Senior Client Success Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], she is always on top of our requests, and she replies promptly. Pros The ease of using the program, easy to upload documents, search and generate reports. Cons No cons for MyCOI but it took us a while to gather all the vendor data from different departments within our municipality. Once that was gathered it was a smooth transition. I truly enjoy working with \[sensitive content hidden\] Pros I like that I don't have to be the one to review and track the insurance because I know very little about it. I like that I can run reports to see where my projects stand and I can easily see what is missing from a vendor's insurance with the notes that are left. We needed help with compliance and having a system that could contact vendors and keep on them until they became compliant with insurance. myCOI does this for us and we have very few non-compliant vendors compared to the number we had in our last system. Pros This software is easy to use and navigate. I am able to train my employees to use the system and understand it without much issue. Cons Sometime the system is slow when running reports or trying to get to other screens. The margin for error is greatly reduced. The training and support I have received has been excellent. I even receive a follow up message to requests that have been resolved, just to make sure. My client specialist, \[sensitive content hidden\] is wonderful. She responds quickly and makes certain I am understanding all the details I need to be successful with MyCOI. She sends me personalized videos that are ideal for a visual learner like myself. This is preferred over the support videos which sometimes still left me with questions. Pros The program takes the daunting task off of our overextended team members and allows them to focus on what they do best. Pros Their system is easy to navigate and user friendly. It's nice having the dash broad when you first log into the system to have that quick snap shot of what is going on to use. Cons When there is a situation, it's not always clear as what steps that have been taken or that still need to be taken to get compliant COIs.
