Pros I find Pinterest's content library extremely powerful. There is information about almost everything and the way it predicts your interests and what you're looking for is great. It save a lot of time and even makes work more productive. The software interface is also clean and free from distractions. Cons As compared to Instagram, it has a relatively small user community. There is a possibility that the links in the post will turn users away. There are some features I wish it had, but I cant really complain. Pros The best feature of the application is definitely the amount of content it provides. One just searches a word, and hundreds of images relating to the word appear for inspiration or idea generation. Cons Some elements of the UI are clunky, making the user experience not as good. It is a bit frustrating to have to figure out how to navigate the app time and time again. I do love the visual aspect of it though, and I will continue to use this software. Pros Pinterest is a stunning visual display of a varying topics. I like how easy it is to get blissfully lost in finding a new recipe, outfit or tattoo. Whatever you're looking for, Pinterest has it in droves. Cons I am least impressed with the way Pinterest approaches diversity. Where everything was once together, I now have to "choose a skintone" and look only at certain races or skin tones at once. That's extremely disheartening to me. I am a makeup artist and need to see multiple skin tones in one go. It's unfortunately an act of segregation to split up the skin tone ranges in this manner. It was unnecessary and borderline offensive. They were a visual search engine that benefited the content creator and the user. Now, both are exiting the platform. Pros Like most content creators, we loved Pinterest because if you created quality content with the right image dimensions, descriptions, keywords, and were on the right group boards, you had great traffic to your website. Well, now that's been taken away. Most content creators will tell you that their traffic went massively down with the new changes in Pinterest. Cons It feels like they don't know what they're doing anymore. Pinterest used to be a visual search engine. Now they're trying to be Instagram by having stories and trying all different routes instead of what made them popular in the first place.
