Flywheel Reviews
"Best software for WordPress "
Pros: Flywheel is one of the best software for local as well as server with one-click setup support
Cons: Sometimes using a flywheel may face some problem in domain name creation.
"Flywheel a perfect hosting platform"
Overall: It's true Flywheel has a few cons. But compared to other software and the features they provide, I think Flywheel is a handy tool for regular use.
Pros: I personally like Flywheel for the premium features they offer to their users for free. It provides the opportunity to temporarily host our websites with built-in SSL Support. And it contains a user-friendly interface that anyone can easily deal with.
Cons: Flywheel usually consumes more memory compared to other software. Another thing is Flywheel uses Nginx Instead of Apache. So it blocks the opportunity to use htaccess file configurations.
"Great and affordable host, website builder, and local development tools"
Pros: Flywheel does hosting, website building, and local website development on your hard drive very well. Their website is intuitive and easy to use. They also have a great knowledge base. It's slightly cheaper than WP Engine. Performance is as good as WP Engine.
Cons: Some of the Flywheel resources link directly to WP Engine.
"Managed WordPress Hosting that is perfectly serviceable"
Overall: I needed a simpler hosting solution than shared hosting for my websites. Every month, it has allowed me to save hours on management and upgrading. Wordpress administration has always been a pain, especially if you host several Wordpress blogs. It's really simple with Flywheel. My ability to manage my clientele has greatly improved.
Pros: Simple site transfer and management of my site's details make it simple to maintain my site's functionality. I adore everything flywheel is doing. Wordpress administration has always been a pain, especially if you host several Wordpress blogs. It's really simple with Flywheel.
Cons: I wish they'd let me use a test site for nothing (behind a password of course) without having to pay for it. I have a limited amount of time to develop a side business website.
"Fast and Secure Managed WordPress Hosting"
Overall: Excellent managed WordPress hosting for all.
Pros: If you want your WordPress websites to be more secure and fast, the managed WordPress hosting of Flywheel is an excellent option. The 1-website plan is a great way to test Flywheel's performance for your specific needs. They have freelancer and agency plans that can be highly beneficial to you if you're any of them. The support is excellent, and I loved it.
Cons: They only allow a limited number of websites in each plan.
"Flywheel hosting is a great Wordpress managed hosting solution"
Overall: My overall experience has been great. Flywheel has assisted me in hosting approximately 50 WordPress websites. They have provided support around ssl installations, additional security, malware scanning, plugin troubleshooting and much more. They often go above and beyond my expectations.
Pros: The reliability, ease of use, and customer service/support are what make this a great option for hosting WordPress websites. Things like setting up a new site, adding a domain, activating the SSL are as simple as clicking a few buttons.
Cons: Every once in a while I get a project that needs something special such as a need for the SOAP client or the need to use environment variables. Flywheel's support is great at answering technical questions and providing solutions, but it takes time to open support questions and if it is after business hours, you often have to wait for the next day to get it answered. That being said, it is a very minor con and this is pretty much the case for all Managed Hosting Solutions.
