Pros

Lots of features from file/archives finding to calculator , web search and more.Better than Spotlight.

Cons

Complex to use with some features.Pricey, pay for feature by feature.

The speed with which I can open programs and start work has increased significantly.

Pros

I love Alfred! Every day, when I open an app, I press two buttons to open Alfred and type the beginning of the app name. Immediately I see the app I want, and boom! I press enter. That's it - I am back to work.

Cons

So far, there is nothing I am unhappy with. Alfred works great for me. I will recommend it to my friends.

I think the Alfred Powerpack is a very creative feature for automating daily tasks. It can be intinidating to try to understand all that it can do.

Pros

Alfred provides a wide ranging set of features to automate my workflow. There a ton of keyboard shortcuts available to use.

Cons

The workflow editor can be difficult to understand, especially if you want to create custom actions. There are other apps that compete with Alfred that may be easier to use.

I really want to love Alfred and use it more, just need more guidance on how it would work in my workflow.

Pros

A simple, yet very powerful addition to any workspace. Takes a simple command shortcut and turns it into a hoax of quick actions that streamline productivity.

Cons

I know Alfred is a tool that can really enhance by productivity, but I continually find myself reaching for the standard search on my Mac. I think there needs to be more guidance as far as implementing Alfred and what workflows actually look like.

Makes my daily workflow much smoother and more productive. One of the few tools I have ever seen that makes the Mac experience better.

Pros

It's fast; Spotlight feels like molasses after using Alfred. It's also very customizable, allowing you to define your own command prefixes to speed up your workflow. The abundance of features keep your fingers to the keyboard, spending less time wandering around with your mouse, trying to remember where on earth that thing was that you needed.

Cons

Running Terminal commands and custom themes are both behind the Power Pack upgrade, but I respect that. You'll also need to turn off Spotlight and re-map the hotkey if you want to use cmd+space to open Alfred, and it doesn't have instructions for that, but you can find it elsewhere relatively easily.
