System Administrator Information Technology and Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Most Versatile Network Administration Platform" October 14, 2022 5.0 Network management especially for Ubiquiti devices has never been this easy. Pros The fact that UNMS supports network monitoring from different hardware vendor i.e mikrotik makes it the easiest platform to use and deploy. The dashboard is amazing especially one click upgrade for ubnt devices firmware and all that for free. Cons I wish they offered a binary for installing UNMS for windows. Unbeatable prices, beautiful hardware and software layout and best of all, no licensing fees! Cons I love everything about Ubiquiti. There is nothing that I can think of that I can complain about. Switched from [Cisco Meraki](https://www.capterra.com/p/176649/Meraki-Systems-Manager/) We made the switch because it was way too much to pay for Cisco and Ubiquiti made it affordable and easy. August 6, 2025 5.0 My experience with UISP has been great. It made managing a number of integrated products an easy streamlined process. Pros Ubiquiti is an incredibly easy and intuitive system to use. For those who are not technically proficient, it manages what would be difficult processes in an easy to understand manner. Cons Customer service for UISP can be difficult to contact. However, there is a robust user community making it simple to troubleshoot issues. Review Source HT Hugues T. Have in mind that you're on your own when having a problem. Pros The webpanel is modern, very easy to use and it's a pleasure to configure new things. The mobile app is also very great. There is a dark/light mode, everything is beautiful on the panel. Cons Some settings are difficult to find but after few minutes, it will be ok. Support is the big problem here. You will have to go to forums, etc.. There no "official" help. Logs are not very clear and not very comprehensive too. Review Source KW Katie W. The interface is very clean and easy to follow. Cons My lack of experience likely comes into play but it seems to glitch out here and there. Even with the assistance of our IT lead, sometimes we scratch our heads and wait a bit for the problem to work itself out. Pros Being able to monitor my whole network no matter where I am at. Mobile, desktop etc. Cons Migrating from my server to the new free ubiquiti servers seemed complicated so I ended up just starting with their server and slowly moving over my clients devices. Reason for choosing UISP Ubiquiti was widely used and it was easy to get the equipment I needed. They are also always updating and upgrading their stuff. Cons The support is where you'll be tripped up when it comes to site issues. The software/system may not scale properly. Fortunately, most people that are looking at this system, knows of the limitations and the comparisons to more expensive solutions. They just are not equal. Review Source KH Kane H.
