I love how it's been created and it's nice to be able to contriibute and help others. Pros Its open-source nature, community driven, and highly accessible nature makes Openstreetmap a very good alternative to better known online maps, as well as its advantages in being essentially a database. Cons This is more of a con for the current map frontend on openstreetmap.org. I really like it, but to the casual observer it feels like a less-able version of Google Maps. This isn't accurate, it's just that because its presented in a similar way, there will understandably be comparisons made. The fact that it is free is absolutely amazing. I recommend building on OpenStreetMap before going to more expensive and complicated mapping software. Pros OpenStreetMap is a wonderful software that is packed with mapping data. My favorite park about OpenStreetMap is how easy it is to add new locations and have them deployed immediately. Cons The interface of OpenStreetMap is not as good as the alternatives. Also, the map does lack information about things like hotels, restaurants, and other points of interest. It is primarily good for highways, trails, and roads. Switched from [Mapbox](https://www.capterra.com/p/171362/Mapbox/) OpenStreetMap is far easier to use, in my opinion than Mapbox. It allows you to bring on your data and display them easily on the base map. It also use nice color code to make your map interesting. Pros OpenStreetMap is a very cool software for Data Capturing, Geolocation Mapping, file sharing, importing and exporting of data and analyzing your data with beautiful representations. It is easy to use and allows for integration with other businesses. Cons The software is cool, especially with the nice set of color code with allows you to easily give a meaningful representations on your map displays.
