PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS VEEM PLATFORM!!! If I could give 0 stars, I would!! This platform, and the company as a whole, are just horrible! I have several documented incidents where clients have submitted funds for payment and Veem has held onto the funds longer than their own policy states. The generic answer we would receive, "Please accept our apologies...it's due to a third-party issue...". This answer would only come once you have escalated the matter and exhausted all other options to get someone on the phone. I informed our client that we can no longer use this platform, and they fully supported our team, as they had full visibility of the issues. NOTE: We pay for the "instant transfer" service, and due to the large deposits we are charged the max $20 for each transaction....and STILL, they are always delayed depositing funds. Coming up with a last minute excuse to place blame elsewhere. Pros When it worked, it was like a bank...quick direct deposit; however, the number of issues and horrible customer service overshadows any possible good that may come from this company. Cons 1\. NO Customer service - It is non existent! No response to chat or email, and you're lucky if you EVER get a person on the phone. 2. POOR performance - Consistently late depositing funds, even with the 'Instant Transfer' fee agreement cost of $20/transaction. 3. NO accountability for their own actions or issues caused by their system/processes, always shifting blame. 4. NO sense of urgency in resolving issues caused by their own systems, or even implementing tools or processes for sustainable improvement. Seems they only care about getting your money, holding onto it long enough to make a few $$ off interests, then releasing it to you at their convenience. Did what it was supposed to do, until it didn't. Cons They broke their own two-factor authentication -- one day, without prior notification to us, their system was no longer capable of sending SMS messages for authentication. I could no longer sign in to our account. Many attempts at working with their customer service to fix this dragged on for a couple weeks. Meanwhile, we couldn't pay our suppliers on time, and our reputation took a hit. The problem never did get fixed. We changed to a different payment platform, which took time. And now, after several requests to cancel our account, they are still withdrawing the $19.99 monthly fee from our bank account. Infuriating! It also supports international payments Cons The primary downside of Veem is its high fees for fast transfers and instant global deposits which can be pricey for businesses that require fast transactions. My client kept letting me know that the payment has been submitted and Veem won't even contact me if a payment was stuck somewhere. I contacted them via email and phone but got no response as to where my expected receivable payment is even after status says that payment has been submitted by my client to Veem! I have had one other issue in the past but it was resolved within a week. To me. It appears they have given up on any customer concerns and are making up for it in volume. No support with an issue regarding money makes this nothing but a gamble. Pros Easy and convenient to use. Most transactions go smoothly. Cons I sent a vendor a payment of about $285.00 USD. This was 4 days short of a month ago. Veem claimed it was delivered but the receiving bank has no record. We have provided all documentation requested but "support" has gone silent after saying their partner is looking into the issue. Reasons for choosing Veem Ease of use and cost of transactions.
