If I was selling on my website, the complaint about it being more expensive probably wouldn't apply either. Pros Portfoliobox is affordable for the most part and very user friendly. I like the layout of my site and how simple it is to put together. I'm happy with the interface and options as well as the tiered price plans. Cons If you aren't getting monetary benefits, even 10 dollars per month can feel like a lot. I started out with the 5 dollar per month price plan (it was a discount) which was definitely a steal. That was a great promo, and helped for the first year. Now paying 120 dollars a year when I'm not using my site as anything but a showcase feels a little overwhelming. Cons The software is too limited for an advanced and seasoned photographer making money, this is suited for beginners.
